I purchased an RTR Capra 6 months back. At first, I found the placement of the DIG's activation buttons on the controller were constantly being 'accidentally' pressed by my thumb. I fashioned a guard on the controller to keep my thumb from erroneously activating the DIG. Then I found the DIG was occasionally being erroneously activated by the signal to the cordless headphones I wear when driving my RCs, and it would then require me to disconnect the battery for about 10 seconds and then reconnect(reboot) so I could continue driving my Capra. That is when I had enough of this superfluous, problematic, unneeded, un-asked for sales GIMMICK. I pulled the plug on the DIG's servo wire and zip-tied the DIG's activating arm forward in constant 4WD. My Capra has given me nothing but pleasure ever since. My advice to Axial; K I S S!

Im using Reefs 99 micro as it runs higher voltage than the spectrum that Axial recommend without servo saver, adjusted end points and it work extremely well, no need to reverse to disengage dig

I did the same thing. I bought an aftermarket tranny and i think the slide fork slides more than the stock so i gotta figure out how to get more throw with the xtra emaxx servo i had from an scx24. Been a bit of a challenge. I can get it to free the rear but doesnt slide all the way into the dig gear to hold it.

I use the reefs 99micro servo for dig. It’s 100oz in and the mount only flexes when the dig binds. When it slides into 4wd or dig it doesn’t flex at all. It basically acts like a servo saver, but I do have an ssd servo mount for it invade it becomes problematic. . You should work on your epa more. . I use the gt5 and channel 4 is a 3 position switch. I actually use Fwd a lot. . I run a trax-ass blue 2250 330oz servo up front, use to be in my trx6 but replaced with triple 7 reefs, and an $18 dsservo in the rear. The only places I stall them are spots that are really bound down.

on the original controller you press one button and dig engages press the other button and it disengages but does nothing if you press the engage button again so on the original transmitter the dig uses 2 buttons so how did you get it to work on 1 button ??

Your servo didn’t cycle when you turned it on. Mine goes all the way left and right and stresses it out before it comes to center I’m running spektrum and a axe 550

My endpoints and trim are set so it doesnt max out either way and it works like a charm
