Man, releasing 4ws that is already nearly 15 years out of date! Redcat had a better 4ws radio with full mixing nearly 10 years ago. Obviously, the axial is a nicer truck but they could have done far better with the radio.

Hi...thank you for everything you do on the channel, i have learned a lot..but i want to know if you can direct me to where I will find the exact measurements Axial 3 chassis, as I want to build it myself because I cant affort to buy me the cars so I have to go to DIY, any advise?

You're gonna have alot of pissed off customers when they find out the rear steering is staged and not proportional without a transmitter upgrade. I've been waiting on this 4WS Capra for a long time just to be disappointed. So glad I found out about the rear steering AND having to upgrade further to use the onboard dig feature. For $120 the Redcat Danchee Ridgerock has fully proportional front and rear steering. Y'all can work that out I'm sure. Please do better for us.

Serious question: At approximately the same price point, what 4WS RTR can one buy as capable or better. Quality and Capability first, price 2nd?

@@nopresetsnarklimit1675 As crazy as it sounds... Danchee Ridgerock can get real close with about $120 in upgrades with fully proportional steering. You'd be surprised. $250 vs $550? Sounds worth it to me.

@@OGs_Playground Are there any reference videos or links that show what parts are needed and how to do the RidgeRock upgrades? The issues reported by several users of the RidgeRock, is that it breaks very easily, due to cheap plastic parts. Are the upgrades you're referring to related to improving the durability and replacement of cheap parts in the RidgeRock? I have the RGT Trample RTR 4WD but don't know if it is possible to upgrade it to 4WS fully proportional front and rear.

optional - you'll need to remove a spacer in the transmission, pick up a shift servo and have a transmitter with 4+ channels (it comes with a 3ch)

Great now I can but the axles & build a legit 4 wheel steer rig!!! Good ol’ axial what’s old is new. Let’s take an old model & put Currie on it a few upgrades & call it new. Surprised it doesn’t have some dumb jeep body on it!!

1...Plenty of companies do a version 2 of a product, it's giving folks another option/upgrade on an already popular rig and works from Axials point of not having to spend many thousands on retooling a new rig. 2... There would be folks daunted by converting a rig to 4ws by themselves. 3.... Axial just released a 100% brand new Scx6 Just my thoughts Cheers 👍
