Absolutely one of my all time favorite guitar players! I'm really looking forward to the new album and it's a shame the record company doesn't want a live record release next year, I'd love to see his show at Wacken this year recorded for DVD.

I absolutely loved ARP back in the day, his guitar melodies, riffs and tone were gorgeous and he always had great vocalists. Unfortunately though he seemed to run out of ideas on the Mystica album in 2006. Everything since then, just sounds like tired rehashes of his old songs. Don’t get me wrong, his records always pretty much sounded the same but he just ran out of inspiration. The two new songs off this album are no different. Evergreen Gioelli is finally starting to show his age too. Sounds like he’s struggling a bit on these tracks. Still, he has 11 great albums plus some compilations that I’ll always enjoy which is more than most people have managed.
