Im really liking the versatility of the new ax10. Im really enjoying mine so far.
Can't wait for Stage 3 of the build. Looking forward to it!
Super creative .. . beautiful and good processing. With great climbing ability. Congratulations ... and thank you
It does well at both crawling and bashing. In this video we were running all stock electronics, and we were still able to finesse technical lines as well as bash.
I like my OG AX-10 for sure! TVP!
So cool makes me want one now
For pure crawling, the Ridgecrest is probably the way to go. The Wraith is a little more top heavy because of the cage.
It is pretty stout right out of the box. The kingpins screws can come loose after a few runs, so it's good to keep an eye on them. If they get too loose they can cause breakage.
The part number for the body is AX04032, you should be able to get it through any retailer that carries Axial product.
I bought one as soon as they hit tower hobbies. Set up to be more a basher out of the box but can be made more crawl ready with easy, free mods. I'm liking it so far just wish I could mount bumpers for a more "scale" look. I'm working on a custom chassis with galvanized sheet steel to do just that. Or I may just get a Wraith kit and put these axles on my SCX10... =D
They are the 2.2 Axial Ripsaw tires in the R35 compound.
awesome vid!
It is fast enough to use as a trail rig and a basher.
good runs
nice show
Please release a kit. I already have the RTR Ridgecrest (and it's awesome) and I don't need another TX/RX, ESC and motor. Awesome video BTW!
haha once again thanks for replying i think this is what im going to buy!
awsome build, I love seeing this truck kick some but. The truck gets rep of being the underdog ( i do not agree ). Great job love might do something simular.
nice! I think you just sold me on this model, I was looking at several different ones.
U guys have put me at a hell of a decision its time for a new rig an im only gettin a axial but cant make up my mind between the new jeep, wraith,or ridgecrest. If i had the money id buy all but ill be lucky to get one which is ur favorite
Thanks for replying! great to hear it from the masters of this product! how well is it as a crawler though? i also want to have some fun crawling at my cottage!
This*is awesome
For capability in the rocks, 3-5 ounces in each front wheel and no weight in the rear wheels. You can run more weight out front, but too much will hurt overall performance.
great vid. what kind of tires are you using
Looks like you've flipped the lower links too. Like the painted body without those silver windows on the RTR :-) can't wait for clear bodies to hit the UK. Those XR-10 wheels finish it off so well. Are you running the soft compounds? Thanks so showing us. The AX10 lives on.
I have to ask ya. Will the new AX10 out crawl the Wraith with them both being stock out of the box ?. Or even modified ?, any info would be greatly appreciated. AWESOME VIDEO B.T.W. ;} Your video is the reason I'm thinking of buying the new AX10 Thank's. ;}
Pretty cool! He ta with 20t motor? because I have a Wraith and started doing crawler engine and burned.
Looks to crawl really well without a lot of mods. How durable has the Ridgecrest been component wise? I`ve been hearing a bit about the C hubs and screws coming loose.
How fast can this thing go I want one that can crawl an has good trailing speed
where can you find the suv shell unpainted?!?!?!!
What very little weight? Crawl looked planted to me. How much front & rear.
Each front wheel only has 2.7 ounces in it, so less than 6 ounces out front and none in the rear.
Axial i have a trail honcho, and have a question? why do you insist on making the rtr versions with nothing but plastic links and steering gear,id rather pay more and have metal linkages in the first place ?anyone agree?
how is the ridgequest considered a ax-10??? it comes with wraith axles, wraith rims and tires, wraith links... at least think it has wraith links, is it a ax-10 chassis or what??? im not saying i don't like it lol its pretty sweet, but i just don't see how its a ax10, cause i own one and i don't see the resemblance.....
Second!
first! cool vid!
I need
Btw theism
You tell em' Rusty! Propoganda....lol
