Ahhhhhh! Nostalgia! I have a scorpion as well!

I still have mine "RidgeCrest" still holding up as one of our main drivers. We call ours Grubby and it hits the trails here in Estes Park all the time! Its been one of the toughest RC cars I own. Well made machine, great crawler right out of the box.

Wow great content. I love my ax10 . Not my first crawler but definitely one of my go to for trailing or rock bouncing. I actually do more bashing with it anymore with bigger tires & steel gears and shafts its held up well . My first legit was an awful and pretty anemic PTI Goliath. Learned alot about Frankenstein’s monster part robbing and modding . I still have it but its delegated to the bottom of a tote somewhere in the shop. Venom creeper was a solid starter truck as well. Loved venoms green.

So cool to see another one still around. I have my swx bender still . In its original format except electronics. I still have the original Scorpion chassis from axial and several other parts. I'm a suckered for older rc . Awesome memories...!

Yeah only a few die hards like us still have the one that started it all! It’s the memories of the way the hobby was back then. We couldn’t just order parts online. We had to make everything ourselves, and it was just fun to try out different set ups.! I will forever miss the early days of RC Rockcrawling !!!

@ProNoobRC well put ... agree 100% . I've kept mine on a stand 3 shelves down so it don't get as dusty . Lol . After your video I pulled it out and looked at it . Ans a warthog chassis I built back then with the old ax10 axles under it . I'm about to upgrade it tho . I'll post some pics of my swx . Suck a cool crawler!!! 🤘

I still have mine from 2009. I'm actually in the process of going through it and taking it out soon 😂. Took it to the LHS and the guys at the counter were blown away😂. It's set up as a comp crawler. It's got the panther cougar tires and they are dry rotted and apparently they are on backorder right now. Old school Pro-Line narrowed C10 body that you cannot get.

Wow...very cool for sure!! That was my first crawler too. I still have it but it morphed over time into a scx10 converted trail truck. Pretty sure I still have all the links, axles, battery trays and a bunch of other parts in a bin somewhere. Looking forward to the next video.

Which shocks are they and how many mm?

I don’t see a follow up for this ! I just built a sportsman build on an ax10 frame and am currently building another ax10 chassis build. I want to see this thing running !

I traded an scx24 for an og ax10 with scx10 frame but it came with all the original parts, i made it a mud truck for a bit, now its life is as a sema/show rig, using the original ax10 chassis plates for a lift on the scx10 chassis and a ton of boom racing parts, to keep it capable, pretty cool honestly and still an original axial at its heart.
