I've read and heard the rig comes "locked" in high gear until a servo and 3 channel Tx/Rx is added. What's to stop you from manually shifting between low and high? If you can't use both gearing options remotely I would have appreciated the ability to just shift it myself depending on the terrain and style of driving I was doing.

There's no way to unlock and shift manually without the upgrade kit.

That's disappointing but I do appreciate the feedback. I've asked before and not been answered. A sensored brushless setup could make the 2 speed unnecessary but i like the feature regardless. Excited to see more on it. Thanks for sharing.

Is this on 2s or 3s and did they fix the wheels from when they were on the wraith

This was on 2S. Wheels are the bead locks from previous iterations of Axial products from what I understand.
