I'm a truck driver. When I get some idjit that stops in front of me like this, I just lean on that air horn - steady, nonstop, and belligerent - until the person decides to move on. It brings a LOT of attention to their stupid move, and occasionally brings the police!

Ugh, I hate that last one. People are trying to be courteous and let the left turner go, but they don’t have the right of way and end up t-boned or worse. If I’m trying to go left and someone does that, I just flash my lights or put my hands behind my head until they go. For all I know, they could also be a scammer who would hit me and then tell insurance that I failed to yield.

I'm a long haul trucker - have been for 40 years. It's become an everyday occurrence that someone will do something stupid in front of me, requiring me to take some form of defensive maneuvering (not easy at 80,000 pounds!!), and THEY get mad at ME - I guess for having the audacity for daring to A) be on the road today, or B) breathe ......

@@TexJester-no8th I'm a four wheeler, but I grew up in the seventies next to a cool guy who was a good bit outlaw OTR guy back then, but a hell of a good man. Kind to a kid like me who thought Snowman was a god and BJ and the Bear was the best thing after Dukes 😁. Because of that, I've always kept respect for drivers, the job is no joke. Help where I can to block back to let a rig in, pass safely, signal ahead... Other common sense things people should do, taught my kids to do the same. But WTF, people don't even consider the driver, the weight, the service, the conditions ,the responsibility that comes with running trucks for a living. Just don't care, they don't even consider it. Me first. Pisses me off. Yeah, drivers can be assholes too, and the culture on that side has changed as well from the "old days", but still, we're all trying to finish the run, the route or just get home. Be safe out there amigo, it's dog eat dog, and that's a damn shame ain't no common respect and courtesy anymore.
