It is so heartwarming to watch. Ive been on hunt only once in my life years ago, on quails. Thats when I realized dogs are way smarter than me. I shot two times during the hunt and missed both. At the end little dog just caught a quail and brought to me as a gift. That was humiliating AF.

Tubbie is the BEST bird dog I have seen! The way he finds birds is insane! Defiantly a birds worst nightmare cause there isn't a should you couldn't take knowing you have Tubbs to find the bird after. So fun to watch!

I know what you mean about enjoying the moments especially with senior dogs,I too have an 11 year old who still has the drive but the old body doesnt move quite as it used too. I used to have to hunt a couple hours then he would slow down, now he starts at that slow methodical pace and not much gets past his veteran nose. My young dog is running all over creation like a madman lol Cece still seems to be moving good and doing awesome,you got some incredible dogs❤

I know exactly what you mean about chasing moments. It's a hard thing to explain to someone who has not experienced it. But a fellow hunter gets it. Beautiful countryside, great dog work, high flying birds and some good shooting. What's not to like.

I thoroughly enjoy your videos. This is probably as close as I’ll get to chasing birds this year. Not only the dogs are getting old. The long retrieve was great. Fantastic video again! Pheasants are my favorite Bird to pick up and just look at. They're few and far between this year. But we're finding a few. My 9 year old boy has been pounding them so far. Me and my boys love watching your adventures and cool moments, and know all your dogs' names. Coulda used tubbs today on a bird that hit the ground running like hell. We never could get ahold of him.

Yeah, it was a nice mature bird.

I have such a difficult time watching either pheasant or chucker content when i don't have a hunt coming up really close. Just makes me too excited, with nothing coming up. But I'm inside of 2 weeks of my annual run to North and South Dakota for pheasant, so I can handle it.

CCs got hunts left in er...be it more so in the low ag lands versus chuckar hunting in Hells Canyon. Fine shooting Eric, as usual. Like the over/under heat your packing this year. Don't drop her. 😂 Great habitat you were hunting...cover, water and food. Good accounting, loved the drone footage...your mastery of video and editing make the whole thing an easy watch. Eric, your videos and dog work is awesome. I get a chuckle when the good dog voices come out...the higer pitch "good boy or that's my girl" I do the same with my pups. Keep up the great videos. 1 more thing what kind of tracking watch do you run? And have you had any problems with it?

I have an Instinct. It can be finicky sometimes but I like it overall. 👍

Hi Eric, amazing videos, camera work, narration and dog work. I think if you consider adding a shotkam it would be even more awesome :) I do have 1 question to ask you though, when you do actually go to another state (meaning not the one you actually are from and live in and work etc) Do you always camp or do you usually rent a room somewhere close to where you are? And if you do camp everytime, how do you manage to keep yourself clean and wash your clothes and stuff, i get you can shower in the summer but you surely do not do it outside in wintertime, thank you and keep up the amazing work👌

I can’t remember what the name is but it is supposed to help with cross eye dominance. It’s actually not helpful on most shots and I can’t say I’d recommend it.

what make and model E-collar are you using?

Great dogs! I noticed your front sight on your shotgun. Are you cross-eye dominate and if so does that type of front sight help to correct that issue? Several years ago my eye sight changed from being right eye dominate to left eye dominate. Thanks in advance for a reply.

Yes, I’m cross eyed dominant. I can’t really say I shoot better with the sight.

hello eric I follow you from Turkey with pleasure and watch your videos with pleasure. I wish them continued success. I have a question. I would be very happy if you could help me with the location of the camera settings when shooting videos and what solution you would suggest for camera heating in long videos. Thank you.

I need to get out west, and do some wild pheasant hunting and quail and grouse I’ve only got ruffed grouse to hunt as a wild bird here in New Hampshire they stock pheasants but it’s not the same and they only stock 10,000 in the whole state so there are very few and far between once people get to them although I can’t complain I put it on the ground this year still working on my first grouse of the year they’ve been giving me the runaround. It doesn’t help that I hunt without dogs for grouse.
