Did not calculate for angle of ladder. Seems like ankle crank to me. What if plank is moist or wet. Could get iffy. You need to be able to use on both sides of latter and adjust to make level.

Love the videos. But just one thing. If you put in the discripion or title what you are building it would be very helpful. As people like me when I search diy lader jack I would have came across your video. There is a few things you posted I would like to build. However because your videos do not have titles like that I can not find them. Also because of this I skip to the end of your videos just to see what you are building. This is killing your watch times as I am sure others are doing the same. You do build the best things. I am looking for the jack stand things you built. Thanks for the great videos.

mbahmannz took me forever to find one of his old videos I wanted to make the jack stands. I made a set my way but based off his idea. Great setup the jack stands where the jack fits right under the stand. I needed it to backup a floor under a porch worked great.

why don't you buy the factory ladder Jack

You should not weld so close to your welding machine. The refrigeration fan can catch the sparks through the air and cause a short circuit. You could kill your welding machine, or worse, your welding machine can burst into flames and burn down your house.

Another way to get hurt.

Not a very safe design. Do not meet minimum design standards for use in the USA, and with plank not parallel to ground, these can be VERY unsafe. Just because someone has a bandsaw, welder, and an iPhone, it does not make them a mechanical or structural engineer. Bloody scary.

Why not just buy a pair of ladder jacks with adjustable pitch so you aren't being forced to lean forward and you can put wider planks on it? Very unsafe bro.

J Mac Idea is ok..but .. Don't like the single weld on the top hook. Bottom hook could do with a fillet plate to support it from bending.
