I bought this as a gift for my friend kzread.infoUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG who is just starting out in the world of wood work. He loves it!! There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.

Nice job. Only thing I would've done differently is to also cut the top and bottom of the supporting legs at an angle so the "A" has a wider stance for better stability. Come to think of it, I would also screw some supporting blocks under both sides of each step. Be sure not to screw into the grain (cut) side of the wood. This will give greater strength to the steps.

If the black screws break, flight from a height is guaranteed! Plant on dowels, slots, or stops under the steps, you’re right!

From what I seen & watched, it would have been very nice if you would have taken the time to add in the cut measurements of each board pieces that were cut, & the screw size used, & the hinge size, that was also used for the project. Very nice, but I think the back legs should lean out a little farther to make the ladder more sturdy. It can collapse very easily the way you have it.

Yo nunca aseguraría el peldaño con el tornillo directamente, el peso de la persona hace que el peldaño se desgarre donde va el tornillo , yo le colocaría trozos de la misma madera y arriba el peldaño

That wouldn't hurt but with board that thick it will be fine. Especially since he'd using screws not nails.

using wood for your home, who has got all that machinery at home ? I like videos that use basic tools. leverage on back legs will soon rip the screws out, not well made.
