Avoiding Hospitalization and Monitoring Heart Failure with CardioMEMS

In this video I explain how the CardioMEMS device allows for patients to be monitored for pulmonary hypertension remotely. This devices sends data which can show lung pressures rising before congestive heart failure and hospitalization is needed.

It is better to move to Florida and become a patient of Dr J. This doctor is genuine because he wants to help people heal and live the best quality of life that they can. Not like most doctors who rather hold important information from you, while getting money from your insurance company until you die. Instead of helping you to get better, they rather to keep you unhealthy to benefit them. We need to take up people and realize that most doctors are full of greed and will use us for their benefits for as long as we live. Dr. J. Is a rare doctor with a compassionate heart to help people live. May God continue to bless him and guide him to do the right thing by his people.

Question? Are you aware of nose breathers vs mouth breathers? I sleep with surgical tape over my mouth to teach my body to breathe thru my nose for my sleep apnea. My breathing seems to be normal without lapses in my breathing. Any thoughts or recommendations? Love your videos and no bs style.

It almost sounds like this is binary, or does it give a number on some sort of scale? I haven't had CHF since before I began reversing my diabetes. The CHF itself is not a problem, I can manage fluid easily most of the time with potassium, occasionally I need lasix. Mostly, I judge based on BP, edema, weight gain, etc. However, Dec 2020, I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension in a cath lab (also got a stent). I've been perturbed ever since that there's no way to know if that is worse or better at any particular time. I'm not exactly going to a cath lab regularly! It seems to me that my Libre was instrumental n reversing my diabetes; this device might be helpful in reversing pulmonary hypertension if I can see numbers.

Very soon, all of our diagnostic tools will be noninvasive & less risd to the patient... Always going to need the cath lab, though!

Please help. I think Pharmaceuticals gave me a heart condition. I woke up from a hysterectomy with a Dr telling me that my heart rate spiked during surgery and that they had to put me on a heart medication. Calcium channel blocker. I had never had a spiked heart rate before. It probably spiked because you go into surgery dehydrated because you cant drink anything many hours before surgery and I was always a bit dehydrated already because I'm never thirsty and didn't realize at the time how important hydration is. Fast forward 4+yrs and my heart rhythm is completely messed up and I can't get off of these meds. I have appt next month to see a 5th cardiologist in 4 yrs. I think the med has caused the beginning of heart failure because now even when I try to stop taking the medication my heart rate stays in the 50s when at rest (not supposed to be below 60) and I get several different kinds of cardiac arrhythmias....because under 60 bpm there's not enough cardiac output. I had zero heart problems before that surgery. Could drink caffeine with no problem. (not that I miss it...its just to make a point) Now I can't even drink Decaf coffee because there's too much caffeine in it and it causes arrhythmias. I've been told I have IST. The arrhythmias are so bad I'm not sure I can wait until next month to see the Dr.

I started intermittent fasting (16/8) as a way of future proofing against diabetes back in July 2022. Did my first OMAD recently and have cut sugar out of my diet. I am a double SCAD survivor (needed CABG) and was left with congestive heart failure (currently with a 28% ejection fraction). I also happen to have been diagnosed with lymphangioleiomyomatosis, but have so far remained asymptomatic. I have tried finding information on intermittent fasting and CHF, SCAD and LAM, but I am coming up empty-handed. Would love to see a video on intermittent fasting, CHF, SCAD. Thanks!

Dr. Jamnadas please be careful in the cath lab. Increasingly more cath lab doctors are experiencing various cancers due to x-ray imaging exposure. My oral surgeon Dr Krajekian(Cle Oh) is world renown in virtual surgery imaging. He uses it in oral surgeries but he took time to explain how they are beginning to use VR imaging in the cardio cath lab. The VR imagery comes from a patients prior body scan(? MRI perhaps). Then a virtual model of their unique cardio vasculature is created. In essence - it runs parallel to the non-virtual arterial system in which the cath is travelling in real-time. It eliminates entirely the need for live x-ray imaging during real cath sessions - therefore eliminating the risk of cancer to physicians operating in the cath lab. Please look into this for your own health & well being as you are making major contributions to the human race. Sorry to be breif & untechnical but I do understand the VR surgery positive attributes & just want you to be aware if you are not already. God bless you! Your work is tremendous. Here is a link: www.drkrajekian.com/ He knew my brother-in-law Dr Mark Piper - a retired world renown Maxillofacial surgeon who developed doppler imaging for TMJ surgery in the 1980's thru 21st century. He was kind to explain the new VR surgery technique(& the other uses as w the cardio cath lab). Hope this aides you & your colleagues.
