Reflection is the most important for all of us, this can be in sports or in our day-to-day lives without it we won't know if we are improving or getting worse. When our self-reflection shows that we are falling short, we have to find ways to improve or if our self-reflection shows that we are improving, then we have to work to maintain and improve even more.

I was just watching a video about Milner talking about this and how he said that no matter what the coach did(benching him or dropping him out of the squad completely) he never dropped his standards!Helpful video that I realized that I’m suffering and I WILL work on this!Thanks for the great video

Good video, can you make a video on how to actually train? Like what should I do what should I watch out and etc.

I made a video on how Ronaldo trains through deliberate practice that should help. If not, check out other channels that focus more on specific drills etc.

Sam! When I find myself not performing well, I just tell myself to give 100% and produce my A game, regardless of the situation I'm in (specifically for example being 9-3 down in a game of squash). I do this to not stress out or get depressed afterwards. Of course I reflect on my performance that day by some journaling. So my question is... what else can i add to this approach? And in your opinion, Sam, is it actually a good approach?
@SamMartinPeakPerformance

Yes, always good to not put too much pressure on yourself in tough moments/during the heat of the moment. You may wish to be more harsh with yourself when journalling afterwards - really ask yourself things like "Did I show weakness today? If so, how do I prevent it from entering my play next time?" We all have to push ourselves and call ourselves out when really needed.
Im a footballer and have been struggling lately with confidence and get nervous and feel pressure on game day and it makes me mad because Ik I’m not showing my ability and Ik I’m better than most guys on the pitch but I just can’t show it

Do you have any advice on how to return to a sport you've stopped playing previously and perform at your best despite the break?

be realistic with your expectations. odd are you will be rusty. You have to be patient in getting back to your best after a break
bro, in positive self talk is it best to say mantras as affirmations every day or only in situations where it is necessary?

I'm not really sure who to ask to monitor my standards but I had resulted in sending an e-mail to my self a week from now asking myself how _____ I was this week for each behavior.

Sam, I played in a defensive role but I didn’t get much recognition from it so I tried playing in left wing I was good and going out of tight spaces but that was about it so I tried going back into my left back role but I don’t play as good anymore what do I do?

Sounds like you've got versatility, which is a great asset! Perhaps try refining your skills in both positions to find a balance that feels right to you. Just be patient too. Keep practicing and experimenting until you find your groove again!

Please answer my question, respect Can I join a football team if I don't smoke and never will? Like the team I go to, I see some players who smoke and I fantasize about having to smoke to be a footballer. I'm really good at football and I'm never going to spoil my health doing something like this, do I have a chance to join the team without ever smoking?

hi, i know you may have not been expecting this but Jesus loves you and he died for you so that you and I may have eternal life, the thing is that no matter how good we may think we are,we are all sinners that deserve an eternal punishment cause we sinned against an eternal God. But Jesus Christ came into this world as a man to take the punishment that you and I supposed to take. To receive God's gift of eternal life you have to believe in he who he says he is, not just a good man, a great teacher or a big prophet but the way the truth and the life and you must confess with your mouth that he is lord come to him the way you are and let him change you, I am not here to force any religion. If you would like to receive him you can pray this prayer ( remember it is not a prayer that saves you but your faith in Jesus) Jesus i accept you today as my lord and personal saviour i believe you died and rose again, i choose to forsake the world to follow you change my heart and make me who you want me to be in Jesus name i pray amen
OK it's officially I quit it
