This song resonated with the audience from Moment One. And when he started singing, and the guys chimed in, the crowd was mesmerized and silent. Everyone's hoping he follows through with a sort of promise he made last year in a livestream that "When I Die" will be on the new upcoming album. By the way, chances are that, when he's able to reschedule a US tour, he'll start it in Nashville, since he lives nearby. If he does, try to go. He's even better live in person, and you can even get a one-on-one brief talk with him and a hug like no other. He meets with fans after his shows.

In chat on Wednesday, he was asked if he'd be recording "When I Die" and he answered 'Yes, 100%". It will be fascinating to see how he produces it in the studio, especially if Mike Mogis is leading the team again.

@@ComedyBros5 Try to watch Avi's Instagram livestream this Saturday, the 30th. He played a rough acoustic of "When I Die" last Saturday, and said he'd work on it and try it again this week. Sort of a preview of what will actually be recorded maybe.

That is so strange. Where did they get it from? This song has not been recorded formally, only in live captures at shows, like this one I did. He's talked about recording it, but I don't believe it's on the upcoming album.
