Funny how Punisher aim his knife at Orion's eye when he could go for Orion's totally exposed mouth.

There should be a "because SHIELD sucks at everything" counter, including the Technovore video.

I'm sure someone will have mentioned it but you are right that this is the last Marvel Anime experiment under that banner. Disk Wars was made under Toei and... honestly it's not worth it unless you want to watch the Japanese version and hear the voice of Dio Brando from JoJo play Deadpool.

Admittedly, I have a soft spot for the Marvel anime. Sure, they definitely have problems but they have some charm to them, and I have fond nostalgia as an edgy weeb that always caught up with reruns of Wolverine and Blade on G4's last days.

Before being shut down due to the channel airing reruns of Cops and Cheaters, and recently opening up again, but unfortunately one of the hosts started getting insecure and lectured the audience for 3 minutes straight.

BTW, the dog named kirby, 2 things 1, i think its actually supposed to be a coyote pup (though that dosnt look like one) and 2, because its a marvel product, i think his name is an Homage to Jack Kirby, the king of comics, not your favorite little puffball from nintendo

Red Guardian has probably one of my fave outfits in marvel (just the costume in this movie) it feels kinda like a suit that i would make, but turned into an MCU suit

I think the only time I've actually seen this movie was through a little "kill count" video and it's probably for good reason. Because the story is a mess and the villain sucks. Outside of that, it has decent animation and passable action scenes, but that's about it.

I saw the Disk Wars one. I think its an anime series. I think most interesting there is that Deadpool is voiced by the VA of Dio from Jojo. Favorite Avengers series will always be Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

That's interesting what you said about Peter Dinklage, because he was probably the biggest bright spot in terms of voice acting in Ice Age: Continental Drift.

That's because I forgot; they don't use that name once in this movie for obvious reasons. The dude has no dignity as it is.

11:47 Wait a second, why is the blood glowing like it's some form of gamma radiation? I mean I know anime sometimes for its TV broadcast censors blood but... this thing only came out on home media. I mean I know with the several problems this movie has this is not at all a big deal but I couldn't help but find that pretty distracting especially when the blood's pretty normal in later shots.

Hey Darklordjadow1. You should one day checkout the 1990s Fantastic Four and Iron Man cartoons. Well only Season 2 of both those shows.

It's ironic how most Marvel cartoon in the 90s sans Spider-Man had a weak first season but improved in the second season, while The Incredible Hulk had a great first season but got weaker by the second season. Also side note, the second season intro of Iron Man is STILL the shit.

Iron Man Season 2 had one of the best theme songs too. Seriously though, avoid avoid AVOID season 1. You won't miss a thing, and they were so cringingly bad that the production team got completely overhauled in between seasons.

True, but his character still stole the spotlight. The writers are obviously big fans, but that doesn’t give him the right to overshadow the rest of the characters and plot. I’m a huge punisher fan myself, so I’m not trying to say that he doesn’t deserve some attention, he just doesn’t need *all* of the attention.

@@ryanhutchinson4467 Common problem with super hero writers, they overhype their favorites and give them too much spotlight, Batman is a good character but these days he's way too overused because writers insist on always making Batman the center of attention whenever possible.

actually about the voice acting, punisher is voiced by Brian Bloom, who plays captain america in avengers EMH, and in some other marvel games, and he's actually good in that so yeah, he probably just wasnt into this, or maybe just played the part of punisher joke seriously

Dear God the punisher is such a stupid part of the marvel mythos. It makes no fucking sense that he is able to NOT be killed or stopped ANYONE with any kind of abilities and powers because the plot says so.

That's what kills me about all those "WHO WOULD WIN? SUPERMAN OR ONE PUNCH MAN" videos and polls and shit. One Punch Man is a parody: his power is literally to never ever lose any fight for any reason. His entire reason for being is to break that kind of shit.

@@Darklordjadow1 Yep, even One Punch Man himself is fully aware that the whole point of the show is to make fun of absurdly overpowered characters like Superman by having a character that literally kills everything in one hit.

I love this movie but yea it is a bit weird, also Marvel does this a lot to Natasha where she doesnt stun her enemies for the sake of an action sequence

Quite frankly, I'd rather watch a Black Widow movie over a Captain Marvel movie, but that's just me. And whether if you liked it or not (I generally didn't care for it), the CM movie mostly served as filler for Endgame.

@@COrraThereal0ne Doomguy at least has more of a personality than Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel is more comparable to Joan Dark from that crappy Doom Annihilation movie.

I hope Black Widow is good and that Taskmaster has a good motivation or at least a not terrible one. The design I'm not liking but hey if the fights are good with some wire works I can move past it. I really hope it's not a CGI fest considering neither has a lot that would require it. This film I think looks fine aside from the stupidest villain in these Marvel animes and Black Widow not having enough plot aside from the camera seeming to think she is the plot. That Marvel Disk anime I've seen a clip of and... The heroes are Pokemon in that and it looked like the main conflict is over if Loki can obtain more of the superhero Pokemon. Which is... Dumb but also I kind of want to see you try to review it for sheer insanity. I know it had an English dub at some point from the clip I saw. Good review and if you want to watch some other good Marvel animated stuff KZread has Planet Hulk for Free with Ads. The comic story was good and I've heard the film is fun.

I'm optimistic for Black Widow. And I wouldn't worry about overuse of CG; I think they went mostly practical for Winter Soldier, so the prospect is not foreign to them.

@@Darklordjadow1 That's why Winter Soldier looked so good. The worry I have is only because they haven't done it again in a long time and movie studios CG a lot. I hope that the Disney+ shows also experiment more with practical. The practical fights in Daredevil like the hallway fight too long to be allowed to run for an Emmy for best fight scene is what I want to see from Black Widow considering it has a big budget and Taskmaster with great coreography would be top teir. Also quick thing that might make you laugh: Taskmaster and Abomination are the only villains in Avengers you can refight and the explanation on why it's almost always Taskmaster is AIM just has a ton of clones of him. Even though you fight him almost constantly

I haven't seen the MCU Black Widow movie, but I get the feeling it'll be so much better than this.

Hmm.....I wonder if CM would love me more if I destroyed half the world? My guess is.......no. She'd punch my lights out. Marvel anime seems to have a bad rep for making stupid characters. That being said....a Captain Marvel anime sounds....very very appealing. ♥♥♥ Yes I did like the end part of the movie when she appeared. Kicking butt and looking mighty good. :)

The two marvel anime movies make The Killing Joke look flawless doesn't it Jadow? I'm going to also say i can think of a worse comic book movie villain, how about the chick from Catwoman who's big evil plan involved getting everyone hooked on skin cream or how about Poison Ivy and Mister Freeze from Batmam and Robin. Ivy wants to blanket the planet in plants and Freeze wants to blanket the planet in ice. Anyone see the problem with that? I think I got you beat for worst villain Jadow lol. They make Elias Starr look like a genius.

The chick from Catwoman's evil plan would fall apart on its own because the FDA is a thing that exists, but at least it kind of makes a twisted insane kind of sense for her taking revenge on a world that prioritizes beauty. One of those "watch the world burn" kind of plans. And Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy's plans individually make sense; it's just their partnership that doesn't, and you could easily intuit that one of them is probably planning to betray the other- especially given Poison Ivy's manipulative nature. Sorry man; I'm still going with Elias.

I wouldn't blame you for not knowing those small time Marvel Supervillains. They ones you couldn't name are Grim Reaper, Griffin (the lion guy), and Count Nefaria (the dracula lookalike) And yeah, Elihas Starr is a pretty lame villain here, but.... Well he wasn't shakespeare for his comic counterpart.. but he was the mad scientist villain for Ant-Man.. and his villain name, I shit you not.. Was 'EGGHEAD'... EGG.. HEAD... because of his giant egg-shaped head.. he came out of the Silver Age of Comics.. a super genius mad scientist that had an uncanny ability to absorb new knowledge and information at seeminly superhuman speeds.

I'm goanna be honest the actual Characterisation of Punisher in this film comes off as a bad piss take written by someone who doesn't like the character. I mean ye Frank ins't the smartest man on the planet but he isn't as idiotic as a brick unlike in this. and don't even get me started on the camera placement on black widow its borderline laughable.

Damn, i think this was the only worthwhile marvel anime experience EVER. It was kinda good IMO, a 6,5/10 i would say. What i cannot understand is how the fuck can you think the marvel IRON MAN anime series was fantastic while the Iron Man Anime Movie was terrible? The movie was bad in a bland and generic kinda way and the series was almost as boring and uninteresting too, a 4-5/10 AT BEST. I had NOTHING TO DO at the time since i couldn't use anything other than my TV and watch those anime since they were available and EVEN THEN i had to force myself to watch each and everyone of those. This movie was the only exception that i could watch and be entertained, even if it had some dumb ideas, it was stil pretty decent. As if every superhero story isn't complete nonsense. Spiderman: Far from Home was VERY FAR from being grounded and many people love it.
