In this video, I display why the storytelling tools that Avatar: The Last Airbender deploys make it so great, and the lack of those same tools in the Star Wars Sequels hold them back. I recently watched Avatar for the first time in well over a decade and fell in love with it. Along with that love, I began to identify a few key aspects of storytelling that the sequels lack, which causes the movies to disappoint myself and many other fans.
