While the movie is a technical marvel and worth seeing for that reason alone. It very much the exact same movie as the first one. A Half Na'vi/Human hybrid (Jake/Lo'ak) finds himself in a new clan and tries to integrate himself in their culture learning their ways while fostering a romantic relationship with Neytiri/Tuk, while the humans encroach on their land/ocean in search of a valuable resource (Unobtanium/Whale Brain goo) all the while a paramilitary officer (Quaritch) hunts after them. The movie even follows several scenes beat for beat (Jake running from the Thanator and hiding under tree roots while it smashes its face trying to break through and reach him/Lo'Ak swimming away from the Akula and hides under root like coral reefs while it smashes its face trying to break through and reach him). A full hour of them running through the jungle/swimming in their ocean to show off the planet's biome etc. It's not a very good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it definitely is an incredible theatrical experience.

I love the concept that if Pandora is real, then an afterlife canonically exists on Pandora. For us humans, if religion turns out to be wrong, there is no afterlife for us but in Pandora, the interconnected lifeforms of the trees, plant life and even marine organisms form a super structure of neural activity that expands across the entire biosphere of Pandora absorbing the consciousness of every animal and every person that died. And in this vast sea of consciousness, everyone who passed away continues to live on. A biological afterlife.

@@noki448 May be You don't like family movies.... Primarily, this is not a superhero movie to stuff this movie with action sequences, but yet it has... This is a film where heart is its story definitely. May be You meant it is a straight story without any twists or turns..... But, remember that it is not a suspense thriller dude to wrap the story with enormous twists and turns in its plot. Moreover, the actual story will begin only in the next part... And pal, one more tip (it's an old saying in kerala) : "One who loves his family will love a family movie"... For me, the best movie ever seen... Haven't you seen the director: it's James Cameron and he does it again!!!
The WoW as a singular cinematic experience is simply unrivalled! This thing on an IMAX screen is just eye popping...the 3 hours didn't feel like 3 hours at all! Time and money well spent!

I actually would love to see more of the forest. Don't get me wrong. The water theme was beautiful and one of its kind, but I sort of have a special connection to the forest. I don't know why, but the forest is more interesting and of course nostalgic to me. I hope we will see more of it and the omatikaya

Amazing, I love Pandora we need another movie on just it
I love the concept that if Pandora is real, then an afterlife canonically exists on Pandora.
Best movie I've watched! I hope that all the other sequels will be as good as this one.
A Big Applause to the Team who made it happen. Bringing a breathtaking world to life on the big screen. I want to see more.

One word to say for Avatar.....Amazing❤🔥
It was during these initial scenes that the theme tune from Avatar 1 was played, but in epic style. There are also underwater scenes with the same melody but played with different instruments. When will they be shared with all of us ?
