No she’s a tribe princess so it’s it’s still her responsibility anyways . It’s teaching a child responsibility. Something white people in America don’t understand because they don’t want to be like the British anymore so they made there own white languages in English instead of how they use to speak and do worse damage and think British English is not the right language in America and and they made there own tea that’s sweet tea . I always liked Mo’at because she was always the most open-minded. For starters, she learned English when it seems like not everybody did to communicate with the Sky People, she decided to give Jake a chance to learn to be one of them, and in the end she saved Jake and Grace when Hometree fell because she trusted them.

I love how Mo’at said they would see if his insanity could be cured. It made me think that she was seeing if he was worthy to have his complete consciousness transferred to his Avatar body❤️

Mo’at was a great side character in the first one She may have gotten literally 5 seconds of screen time but I’m glad that she’s alive and well in the second film

I always wondered why they didn’t give more Marines avatars from the beginning. The Na’Vi are a warrior race that value fighting strength and honor just much as their other traditions. They would obviously have more respect for a fellow warrior, hence Jake assimilating so easily. I bet the scientists and pencil pushers got in their own way half the time.

because the avatars were incredible expensive so they were build only for influential people not everyday soldiers. Just like real life soldiers only do the dirty work and get none of the glory

Well, maybe it's because of what they do makes them the most suitable choice for missions on Pandora. Marines are more capable of handling rough, uncertain terrain on warzones. Besides, marines are more the expeditionary type field of military combat. other military forces which are rarely given missions like infiltrating enemy zones, nowadays they were often given only the task to patrol and protect their turf. Marines on the other hand, are different side of the story. they were on the offensive side during the war. Also, Marines are literally the Army, Air Force and Navy in one, so they could be chosen due to their massive fields, and are a lot more useful on Pandora unlike the others who had only one.

Rangers are legally starved half to death and immediately almost drowned to death just in the training to become a Ranger. They are sent on more infiltration missions than any other part of the military, they are issued beards and Polo shirts to blend in with the population, but when they are sent in as a combat unit they snap to every angle always watching their friends back. Look, all I have to say is I have seen more female Marines than I have seen female Rangers. It's mainly because the training, women when they get dirt in their vagina have a hard time, men don't have that problem

Well the reason why Jake could assimulate so easy is because unlike his fellow humans he saw the world from a different perspective due to his disability. Things others took for granted like walking he didn't hence how the first thing he did was run away from the scientists when he was in his avatar the first time. Which is why he didn't have much trouble learning the ways of the Navi since he was more open then the marines would be to learning their ways.

I love the microexpressions. So much went into animating their faces but I love when Jake says he's from the Jarhead Clan he has a little twitch in his face like "Wait, what? Why did I say that?"

The creators of the movie thought the film would be a huge fail bc of the mixed reviews of the trailer of the 1st movie but after its release it became a huge hit 😁 I'm excited for Avatar 2 this year 😍

warrior of the jarhead clan made me laugh and the confusion on everyones face when jake starts talking to them was just hilarious

Wow, the greeting in na’vi by netiri to her father saying, “I see you.” Clearly a call back to the Zulu tribe in South Africa, their greeting being “Sawubona” meaning literally “I see you“, being educated on various tribes in Africa it’s really hard to miss the influence it has in this movie. From the greeting, to the beaded corset/shawl worn by Mo’at, to the insanely slender tall bodies modeled after the Dinka, the same tribe who created the Beaded shawl btw. And of course the braids, box braids, Ethiopian and fulani style braids and the beaded crowns worn by various Na’vi. I love it. And neteri and mo’at’s names sound very similar to the Ancient Egyptian names of Nefertiti and The Goddess Ma’at. I see the influence from tribes in South Africa like The Zulu, Other tribes within Africa like The Dinka, Ethiopian, Fulani, etc. very cool. I’m sure there’s more im missing can’t wait to see the new Avatar tomorrow!!

That's really cool man, my country "Brazil" has stories like that before the Europeans came and made everything to destroy our culture, it's very heartwarming seeing this kinda of portraying on média, also everything that the humans are doing in this movie it's exactly what Uk and Portugal did to Brazil and Eua, they came, teached their language, their religion, and slave and kill all natives... Also I really like how their portrayals the aliens culture in this movie, in others medias their are aways super smart or simply killing machines but the na'vis is basically the most accurate thing we can get to a real alien culture

I think there's a scene (or deleted scene???) when they gathered around a bonfire, then Jake said to Neytiri 'I think your mother likes me'. But what actually happened is (Jake and Neytiri sat quite apart from Mo'at, Eytukan & Tsu'tey) Mo'at said to Eytukan & Tsu'tey 'his eyes are small, he looks dim. I don't like him' 🤣

I’m sure that has happened before in their history. Probably the past toruk maktos helped to restore the peace. Just how there were peaceful and hostile Native American tribes. And still the case in the Amazon, the Indo-Pacific region (New Guinea) and the Sentinelese.

Well of course they did fight if you ask me or else the Toruk Makto wouldn't be needed to unite them 6 times in their history too. I wouldn't say the "aggressive vs the peaceful". I should say they are living beings and all living beings from animals to humans tend to fight each other for one reason or another. It is the only natural. I think their own dark side should he seen more. We did see a fragment to the comics that got released.

This must of been how in the sequel trailers you can see tons of soldier Avatars/Na’vi. The RDA must of learned from Jake you can be a more powerful soldier if you’re both human AND a Na’vi/Avatar.

Until then, all the Avatars were scientists who thought they knew everything I think and Jake was the first warrior turned Avatar (who had no science experience). And the navi were warriors so learning from a warrior from the sky people would've been helpful.

Love the Tsahiks it almost sounds identical to Psychic. So Avatars have Psychics, called Tsahiks. And I adore each and everyone of these women. I wish they treated Doctor Grace Augustine like a Tsahik/Psychic. She was a scientist, and we know scientists are able to see with more than just eyes.

The thing that bugged me out was when Jake said that he was from the “jarhead” clan- he could’ve easily said he was a marine/warrior from the New York clan (or wherever he was from)! I doubt they knew the states. Maybe it’s bc he was under pressure but at the same be realistic 😭
