Hi I am having issue with the chair I have Autonomous Ergo chair Pro. The issue is the seat is not releasing upwards to adjust height although I am lifingt the lever on the right side with the up arrow. Not sure if I missed a step during the assembly. Please help.

This chair was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were clear and I was about to follow along with no issues at all. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. kzread.infoUgkx5hPALGI87E991DRmXev8PUFJGrrRcONS I did stuff the back of the chair with a pillow so it wouldn’t be so hollow after taking all the pieces out but that’s just a personal preference. I also added a pillow for lumbar support because although this is a great chair and is comfortable, it’s not necessarily the best if you’re sitting 10+ hrs a day wfh but in all honesty for the price, I didn’t mind at all. It looks great in my space and easily adjusts the height when needed.

there's a lot of bad reviews online for this chair saying that it's not worth the money, all I know is that after a week of using it my sciatic nerve pain is all but gone. Well worth $500 in comparison to longterm physical therapy

Awesome! Glad to kinda get a better understanding of the lumbar tension mechanism.

Much better than the printed instructions. I didnt even know the lumbar support pad was adjustable and the lever on the back of the chair doesnt explain what its actually supposed to do either in the manual. Video is way better.

Best chair! I have bought 10 for my office and another 5 for my home. Holds up well, none have had any issues and I have had them all for 2+ years.

I just leveled up my chair skill by watching this.

come back to this every once in a while to tweak the settings and stuff. love this chair, had it for a few years. my advice to any buyers/ new owners would be to get armrest covers! mine has some unappealing wear and tear i couldve prevented with some comfy covers

OMG, it can recline! All this time I thought the lumbar adjustment was the recline, and I was annoyed that this super-expensive chair couldn't even recline very well! 😅

I just got one. I'm a 5' 3" woman and I love that I can adjust every part. The head rest is slightly too tall for my head still but tilting it down and with all the other ways to adjust it its still very comfortable.

Just got the chair and put it together. Was surprisingly straightforward - WAY easier than expected. Looking forward to utilizing it. That said, would have been even easier if I had seen the video first. Per the comments below - it's WAY better than the tiny instruction manual, and for example putting the wheelbase on upside down at the end would have been easier on my back. But all good. LOVE the video on the adjustment handles, as again the instruction manual is really small and a harder to discern. This makes it FAR clearer. THANKS for sending.

Amazing chair! Glad I found this product, it's a life changer. Fits me perfectly at 6'1, I could see a problem with the cushion/chair if you are over 215lb's+ or 6'3+... but if you're 75-215lb's and 5'0-6'3 tall this should be great.

do you guys plan on making an Ergo Chair 3 or something, with fixes and updates, as well as a footrest? i really like the footrest on the Myochair but was kind of bummed when the ErgoChair 2didnt have one.

Great instructional video. I'm reclining in my EC2 right now and it's amazing for kicking back and watching long YT videos. So much better than the chair I had before with had no headrest or reclining.

How many settings are there for the seat tilt? I can only get the chair locked into 2 settings, one tilted up and one tilted down, I cannot get it locked anywhere in the middle

My seat wont slide anymore. It looks like the mechanism for the lock with the metal bar is working fine. Any ideas?

gas lift height? plan to buy the chair but i need to know if the chair fit my set up. i need to know how many cm the lowest gas lift with the lowest handrest from the ground and how many cm the highest gas lift with the lowest handrest

I was still learning features of this chair months after I got it lol. I'm 6'2" and it's by far the comfiest, best fitting thing I've ever sat on. Bloody excellent

@@katelovespizza Absolutely, I'm planted in this thing for about 10 hours or more a day most of the time and it does the job no prob

I was so excited to order this chair. But for me it is terrible. I have two main positions: leaning into my work on the computer and leaning back watching movies. It is ok, not great but ok, leaning forward. Leaning back is terrible. The seat base does not tilt back with the back so your back has to bend in the small of the back.and you feel like you're going to slip forward off of the chair. Also, the chair does not "hold" you. Rather than feeling well supported everywhere, you feel like you are sitting ON the chair, like you might sit on a bench.

Love the chair, but wish you could tilt the seat upward instead of just flat or at a downward incline. I also wish the lumbar could go just a little bit higher, and the back tilt had just a couple more options. But you cant get everything I suppose.

shhhh...got mine preloved in almost brand new conditions. Here are my first impressions, yup the cushion seat bed isn't the best I can slightly feel the metal underneath between my butt, wish it was mesh but plenty of room for the hips and legs. the lumbar support piece kina pokes the spine a little but forces one to not slouch (a good thing) and finally, the headrest keeps detaching from the base when adjusting the height, not sure if guide where it seats is broken or something but I can tweak that with a few screws. Everything else, it's great, adjustments, arms, smooth casters, and quality materials, half hour learning curb, and yeah! no squeaking for now.

i had to go back to my old chair cause i couldn't get this one high enough. Sitting too low gave me hip pain.

Hi there, since we do have a warehouse in Europe, the final price on the Autonomous Spain website should be accurate, and no import tax should be charged

The tilt tension adjustment crank does nothing for my chair. The tension is the exact same if I turn it all the way clockwise or all the way counterclockwise. Also, the lumbar support pad on my chair does not offer any support. I wish you could adjust it horizontally instead of only vertically.

Hi there, please check if the height of your knees matches that of the seat from the ground and the max height for the ErgoChair Pro is 20 inches. When you consider the seat width, it should be wide enough to accommodate your waist measurement, but close enough for you to make use of the armrests. The width of the seat and back of the ErgoChair Pro is 21 inches. The height of the back of the ErgoChair Pro is 22 inches. Compare it to your own back height and you’ll know whether the length of this office chair is suitable enough for you 😊

Just assembled mine and I'm having issues with the lumbar support adjustment. I wanted to test different heights, brought it down after a great amount of struggle and I can no longer bring it back up. Nothing as easy as what's shown in this and other videos. Any idea why?

I heard a lot of bad things about the ergo chairs armrests. They're always moving, because they can't be locked. And because of the hardness, shape and missing horizontal rotation, they seem to be very uncomfortable after a few hours. What do you think about that feedback?

I have one of these chairs, I'm a software engineer, I spend HOURS sitting, plus few more playing some games. I have not found them uncomfortable at all. They're a little bit more towards the hard size, but, all I care about is the actual height positioning to allow me type and move my mouse comfortably. I have not found any issues with the armrest moving all over the place or nothing of that sort. Hope this helps you out.

It seems like ALL of Autonomous' armrests are like this. I have the ErgoChair Pro+ and they will NOT stop moving. When I asked Autonomous support about it, they acted like I had no idea what I was talking about.

They do move around a lot and the soft plastic does get uncomfortable after a while. The armrest has a lil concave design. I ordered some foam padding covers from Amazon but doesn't help they keep moving a lot.

Was not able to adjust height. Pressed handle but it did not go up/ down when I released it

I am having an issue with the seat tilt (0:25) and the seat will not lock in, no matter what position the lever is fixed in. If it does lock in, it is 1% of the time and it is only in the position where the seat is tilted the most forward. I am trying to have it tilted back, but it does not stay. The seat just keeps rocking back and forth, regardless of the position the lever is in. I can see on the bottom of the chair that the rod attached to the lever won't go all the way through to prevent the cushion from moving. During that 1% of the time it stays, I can see the rod go all the way through. Any ideas, please? I just got the chair earlier today. :(

It is to help you adjust the back tilt tension. Some of us like the backrest tension firm enough to support our back well. While others tend to have a relaxing backrest with tension more like hugging the back from behind. I hope you will find my answer helpful ;)

The lumbar support is undetectable from the backrest :( In this case, can you please help me provide your order ID so I can assist you better?

It's frustrating that the sliding armrests aren't lockable. I want to lean on one, and it slides out from under my elbow. This is my only gripe with the chair.

I just got this chair and it was all going well except no matter what I do I cannot seem to move the lumbar support upwards? It was at the highest position when I put it together, which was a bit too high, so I tried to push it down, but it took a lot of force to do so- way more than what is shown here. But when I finally got it to move it went too far down from the force, and now, no matter how hard I push or pull or tug on it I can't get it to move back upwards at all. :(

I had exactly the same issue. I had my partner help me and together with quite a bit of force, we got it to move up again. First impressions with this chair is not good

@@dustybin123 ugh yeah that sounds about right. I was eventually able to get it to move after about 45 minutes of throwing my whole body weight at it. Now that it's in the right place the chair feels good, but man it is not nearly as easy to adjust as they make it out to be.

I am just 6 cm taller than you, while it might make a difference, I have to say that this chair is super configurable. I usually struggle with cushions being on the large side so my knees do not fold correctly and they hurt after a while. Not anymore with this chair :).

I think the chair quality control is really bad as well. the chair angle tilt function locking mechanism tolerances are really low, so even if you lock it in place, the chair wobbles up and down and makes a clicking sound. This chair is a hard pass.

I bought it and I have mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong, its a good chair... but I give it like 7/10 1. Everything is adjustable, but with a real small movement... Ex. : the arms move frontward and backward.. but I would like them way more back so I can get closer to my desk, as a good height for your armrests is the same as the one of your desk. The arms move up... for like 2.5 inches. You can adjust the angle of the seat, but also barely... when i adjust it all the way, I still feel like im sliding off the chair... putting my pants deep into my butt crack. I could fix this by adding 2 spacers on each side on the front screws of the seat.. its now... almost there ;P 2. The seat is really soso... It's one month old and I can almost feel the plastic.. I am a bony 175 lbs... 3. The fabric of the back rest is ruining all of my suits.

i switch right and left arm rest , that helped for closer to desk problem

The chair is rated best for people 5'3"-6'3" so it would be great for you.

Waiting for ErgoChair 3 due to 2 things: 1) bad seat cushion; 2) less ideal lumbar support which only move up and down, doesn't go forward and backward to provide firmer support. Another 2 years?!!!

This chair is appropriate for height from 5'3" - 6'3" I am afraid :(
