    The Japanese perspective of simple & efficient solutions is remarkable. This video emphasises on reducing non-value adding work by a human ( Eg.Watching). Rather than the following automation blindly, Identifying & applying these steps is productive. Thank you for sharing this.

    You are welcome Preyas. The fashion today is to jump into automation. If it is not done step by step, blind automation can be costly and wasteful. Avoidable non value adding activities can get automated. One company installed a large automated warehouse with automated stackers and automated guided vehicles. To do what? To store WIP. They should have reduced and standardized the WIP first, Then they could have automated if need be, The investment required for automation would have got drastically reduced.
