Thank you ive got mine connected and its leaking like a sieve but now I have some pointers! As a woman, I can say its freakin hard being a man! Miss my hubby who was also a plumber. Ok back to it. Wish me luck lol.

wow great minds! my cats drink a lot of water so i needed to think of a solution for an auto refill system. water fountains annoy me because the sound of the splashing drives me insane. so that was a no go. then i thought about how toilet flushers work. nice to see other people have thought the same!

How do you keep hose pressure from building up and causing failure in the hose connections

It is a wash machine hose, so it is designed to have pressure on it constantly. And the fittings are plumbing fittings with the same requirements. Good question, thanks.

I like this idea. Im just curious how, do you get dirty or funky water out of the bowl?

I scoop it out with my hand. Or you can disconnect the hose and flush it out.

What if I wanted to put this inside a bathroom? Would that work?

Yes it could be. If it starts to leak it could cause damage.
