I have a cozy coop auto door opener, mine opens like an elevator door. I used 4 AA batteries in warm weather, switched to AC for winter with Minnesota temps 32 and below. This week though with the negative temps, its so cold that the door won't open or close by itself. I rely on my auto door because I work a 10hr night shift. Love my auto door! Can't wait for a little warmer weather. Oh by the way my girls are doing really well with no heater in the coop!!
