Autocar WX64 - Heil Rapid Rail Garbage Truck

Here we have a Heil Rapid Rail automated side loader on an Autocar Xpeditor WX64 cab and chassis, collecting a residential garbage route! This area had a mix of the usual US-style trash carts, as well as European-style "Wheelie Bins", so that made it even more fun to watch! I hope you all enjoy the video!
As always, a huge thanks goes out to this awesome driver for allowing me to shoot some video of his truck!

Great video. This truck used to collect yard waste, then used for spare in walnut creek close by my neighborhood. Glad to see this rapid rail again in Chico.

Not the most exciting truck, but unique nonetheless. WM has very few RRs, so this is a nice find. The verity of carts is a nice change, and you've got some nice angles in here. I'm also glad that the arm doesn't make that annoying sliding sound when it comes down, like every other newer RR. Nice catch.

I really look forward to seeing your videos from your guys trip on January. Great work! It's cool to see trucks so close to home! This truck actually got transferred up here from the first WM yard I started working at in Walnut Creek, CA after they let go of the contract. Keep up the good work and keep the great refuse industry videos coming!

I'm no fan of Rapid Rails, but really enjoyed this one! I never realized WM had so few Rapid Rails in operation lol

This type of truck cost you more time on the route because the arm is so slow and it’s a delay in the arm when you grab a can.

This is the slowest rapid rail operator I've ever seen, dude would be fired if he worked around here! It only takes 6 seconds from stop to pulling away if your good, this guy is almost 30 seconds every time, pretty pathetic!
