This is the best sounding exhaust set up I’ve heard yet. All the other exhaust clips I’ve heard sound like a tin can and overly raspy on hard acceleration. I’ve been on the fence about exhaust for my m2 comp but this helped settle it! I do have a question though. Why the mid pipe?

The single mid pipe cleans up the rasp by acting like a giant resonator. Huge change over stock for both M3/M4 and M2C. Probably our most popular product for both platforms!

How was the fitment on this install? I bought the exact same setup and the fitment is horrendous.

It takes a lot of money to un-"fork-the-garbage-disposal" an S55. Now it sounds like wooden spoons in a blender. Massive improvement actually!

This doesnt have the m2c front bumper? The grilles are from the og.

👍😎👌hardest part of cost, is the price of tips for upgraded exhaust. M Performance cost a fortune for 4.

It's definitely an improvement for the S55. I'm not sure why it sounds so raspy and high pitched. Did you have to do any cutting of the stock pipes or do they bolt on to the stock down pipe?

The mid pipe alone will require cutting the stock exhaust but if you pair the Remus and AA together it's a perfect match with no modifications. I can hook it up on both products if you're interested and happy to answer any other question :)

@@SuperWhatthefack haha thanks for the offer. I'll get back to you on that. So questions, I actually never looked under the car so I don't know how the exhaust orientation looks like. Does the midpipe replace any cats or resonators and how does it bolt on to the downpipe? I'm in CA, so if it messes with emissions, I wouldn't be able to do it. I definitely want to get a different muffler, but cutting the stock pipe is a dealbreaker unfortunately. It's either I do full catback or nothing.

@@anthonyt4981 Sounds good! The exhaust is basically a dual pipe to a set of cats up to a resonator then a muffler. The mid pipe removes secondary cats and the resonator, so sounds like that's off the list haha. Smog shouldn't really be an issue though since it doesn't affect the primary (downpipe) which holds the O2 Sensors

Danny Perez the muffler design. Sport has a bigger muffler, race has a smaller one

any issues with CEL? no tuning or remapping needed correct?

if you have the european opf you will have a check engine guys u will need to disconnect them in the ecu

To their defense it’s the new distributors fault plus shipping right now internationally is brutallll. The wait for the exhaust is worth it, you’ll be hella stoked once you get it on 😆

@@SuperWhatthefack I understand the circumstances, it’s still frustrating either way. Have the Active autowerke midpipe waiting on my Remus race axle back to arrive🤦‍♂️. Have emailed xph twice and no response yet. Worse comes to worse I send the AA mid back cancel order and then order full FI exhaust directly from FI

Depends on if you have your valves plugged in. In efficient valves are closed until 4k
