Autism and Sibling Relationships

This week I talk about Autism and Sibling Relationships. I use examples from my own childhood, which aren't exactly peachy. I never had siblings that understood me and still don't. My family never really accepted me, except for my mom.
Anyhoo, I talk about how they can go from being really nice to cruel and manipulative, how they don't understand, intentionally did things to set me off, never included me in something, always made me feel different, and were highly impatient, etc.
I know there are some wonderful siblings out there that do get it and make their siblings feel included no matter what. That just wasn't my story, unfortunately. So when you haven't been through it, it is more challenging to talk on that side of the topic.
Hope you all enjoy this week's video, and I will see you next week!

You are so brave. Your siblings should be ashamed. Nobody can be Jennie, but Jennie. You are the best Jennie. You teach me so much. Surround yourself with people that know how awesome you are.
