I am happy. Here's a little update

I did my very best to do what I could last year, but I definitely reached a breaking point.
My ADHD diagnosis back in 2021 made me realise just how much I'd been overcompensating for so many little things up until this point.
Alongside many other difficult things that happened last year, my ability to cope with day to day life became non existent, and I needed to step away from it all for a while so I could figure my head out, and get some help.
I'm incredibly grateful to the NHS. I can't explain just how important the timing was with the therapy I was offered, and how lucky I was to be paired with such a wonderful therapist.
I am still on a bit of a journey with figuring out what I want to do with mygreencow. But for now, I just want to be back to some sort of routine with things.
I've missed the community, and creating art, a lot.
I wanted to leave some ADHD related links here, that have helped me throughout my ADHD diagnosis journey:
The clinic I was diagnosed through have a lot of resources on their site: www.adhd-360.com/
ADHD UK is also a great site for information: adhduk.co.uk/
Instagram accounts that break things down in a brilliantly visual way:

Thank you for being patient, and a big thank you to those who still showed support throughout this break. I don't think I'll fully be able to express how much that means to me 💛

Sometimes I remember loads and when I'm overwhelmed, my head goes to mash and I have no idea what is happening. I've also learnt to be selfish, but I do care about a small group of people, you included 😊 but tbh I dont care what people think of me, and I will talk blunt anyway

So lovely to see a video from you…It’s really inspirational to see how much hard work you have done for yourself to step into the positive place you are today. I think it’s really hard to sometimes put ourselves first and I totally resonate with you around the overthinking of what people think and putting others first. I’m sure others will agree whatever content you choose to put out will be enjoyed.. I’d definitely be keen to see your garden progress or any little project you do with that. 😊

So glad to see you again! ❤Remember you never need to justify where you've been - I disappear from KZread for months at a time with no explanation and then carry on like nothing happened haha. I know I have a lot fewer subscribers than you, but regardless I think anyone who wants to go MIA from social media for mental health reasons (or any other personal reason) should do so and they don't owe anyone an explanation for it if they don't want to explain. You don't owe the world anything! On the other hand though, it is really nice (not nice but you know what I mean) that you are so transparent about the realities of ADHD. Super glad to hear you are in a better headspace now. Can't tell you how deeply I relate to you saying I'm at a point where "there is not an issue between me and other people unless it is spoken", learning how to live like that literally changed my life! ❤Regarding journaling, I love the quote 'make your journal work for you and not the other way round' if there's something you want to journal about and it helps you, do it - forget about the rest! I think having art as a job is so so hard, trying to get that balance between making a living creatively but not letting the monetization of your art steal the joy away from making it is so difficult even in the best of times, with everything you're going through alongside it you should be so proud because you're doing really well ❤ It's so lovely that you have started gardening! Love that for you :) Sorry for such a long comment xx

Loving the hair! I totally felt so much of what you were describing and I've been diagnosed for 40 years! Unmedicated for most of that time, but back on for the past five. You will figure out the tricks that will get you on track to create the life you want. I would not worry about back journaling if I were you, just move forward.

So lovely to see your face again Daisy. I’m sorry you’ve had such a crap time but I’m glad you’re finally feeling happier in yourself. Unmasking after spending the majority of your life living with the mask on is such a difficult journey but I’m really proud of you for finally putting yourself first. I’ve been here since your early smash book videos filmed on the floor and I’ve grown up alongside you and I just want to say thank you for all your content, your videos have always been a safe place for me. I got diagnosed in 2021 too, so from one neurodivergent person to another, welcome home!!! and keep being you 🤍🌈✨

Wow. So lovely to see you are feeling happier and more comfortable in yourself. Don’t feel like you are the only one to lose water bottles. My daughter Jade has lost so many over the years! Ive driven back 20 miles because she left one on a shop counter! Jade has also found her medication challenging. It works for the morning and a bit of the afternoon but then she runs out of steam. Sometimes she takes it later if she has later lectures at Uni. She also has additional medication if she needs a boost to study or complete work later. Do you find it suppresses your appetite?Jade finds she has to eat well first thing as she doesn’t feel hungry at lunch time or it doesn’t taste like it should. Take it as gently as you can. It doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing. You do you, as Tim Holtz says. The memory thing is universal i think for ADHD. Jade often says she will ring me and forgets. I dont take offence, i know she has just got focused on something else. Congratulations on surviving what must have been a horrid 2022, but here you are emerging into 2023 in a much better mental space. Sending love and light and all things good for the rest of the year Sue ❤❤❤❤

👋 nice to see you in a capacity outside of the receiving end of my instagram post dm spam 😅🥲 it's amazing how you can view things clearly once you're out of a relationship isn't it? I thought my last one was so great at the time, which is terrifying in hindsight 🥴 looking lovely btw, love the hair and makeup 😍🧡 my nails are currently yellow with a couple of orange dots, like your bed aesthetic 😁🤭 I really can't do water, I drink sparkling lemon and lime water cos otherwise I become severely dehydrated 😅 So so glad to see you had Self Love Start epiphany, it's a hard one but it's very worth it 💗 best of luck with the adhd, mental health, financial and life stuffs! Lots of love xx💜
