Easily the most brilliant youngster I can possibly imagine... may be it is the effect of the exposure these kids have to information through the net that their brains develop so well and so early. If he is talking like this at the age of 28, I can't imagine how he is going to talk as a 60 year old professor!

Manu sounds very sensible. Happy to see that such sensible historians are still emerging among the younger generations in an age of increasing right-wing pervasion at the political landscape of India. Wishing him a long life and bright future.

If there is one group of population brought up in a conservative straight jacket that would be A Keralite.. No gender disparity.. Both are same.. Even A Veteran Industrualist like C Bala, L, who jumped out of IAS, started Penpol, Trivandrum ( now Terumo Penpol) cant distinguish between Eminence and its Disconnect with AGE, Family, Place of Birth etc.. Only the Ecosystem in which this guy was allowed to bring himself.. OUTSIDE KERALA.. Which stamped his innate hunger for knowledge to blossom..Then.. His penchant for History gets a Filip through his access to archives at London, courtesy Dr Tharoor.. And by the bye.. Had this guy been at Kerala.. He would have been only A Poster boy in some matrimonial platforms... Dear Bala Sir,.. You wrote.. The Book..On A Clear Day, You Can See India.. Unfortunately A Person inside Kerala remains only as a Keralite without any impactful life.. Except making a few cash, and being self important.. Sorry that Manu didnt say.. Get out of Kerala To See the Real India..

Ramayana and Mahabharata were written by people who had marginalised community blood, Valmiki and Vyasa are some of many examples. Our ancestors were Dharmic followers and the moment we push everything they did as myth i.e unnecessary, we lose our identity and foundation. Even though the Scandinavians are catholics or any other religion today they still say Odin Thor etc. WERE OUR GODS. When you say we dont know Dalit history we have to look into the Dharmic history and start. We are an ancient civilisation and it doesn't matter if the post-modernist here do not want to admit it.

Valimiki is the son of a brahmin( clearly mentioned in ramayan by valimiki himself) and vyasas mother was a Apsara , brought up by a fisherman and his father is again a brahmin 😁😁

I havent seen a more lopsided audience like this for anyof Manu, s talks.. TiE and its members supposed to be Entrepreneurs / business class / working pro, s should have been more agile.. This bunch is bored.. They just want to leave for the confines of their comfort zones.. Rather than listening to the Thread Bare Analysis of some Unknwn historical issues..
