We have a lot of 2003-2007 BMW 745li's come to the shop we need help on that and new slot programming!

Add a video of when u brick a cas3 module during a failed update. I had to learn the hard way but got it done. I think a video on this would b nice.

personally I prefer working on bench as it broadens your view and let's you play with alot of things.

working on bench also does well on lost keys. as you wouldn't be needing a previous key

It may help if the BMW key was not upside down in the programmer. The chip will not read correctly that way.

I have an IM508 with an XP200 here In the USA.Is the XP200 capable to do the same process of adding a key to BMWs like the 2 models in your video providing I have a network connection for my IM508 and within update period where required?

Should be the same procedure since its all done via obd and the function route is the same on both im508 and IM608 devices.

I noticed when it's updating the CAS it asks you to "Manually backup the original car flash and EEPROM data before performing this fuction". How do you do this? Does the IM608 perform this automatically? Thank you in advance.

Back out of the screen and go to advance mode and it has the options or sometimes just backing out itll have it

HI Semej, I can help you but I charge. I will tell you that your tool does not have any bmw key coding. The coding coding is extremely limited on this model and its mainly used for reading and erasing codes. You have the wrong tool if you want key coding on a professional level

I use the autel im608 and the maxisys 908 elite every day. There great tools but I dont understand why you would take all the risk of programming bmw and mercedes keys. You can buy a pre programmed key from the dealer. Then you have a quality key instead of cheap copy key which you have program with all kind of risks.

HI Adam, I encourage charging high fees. The pattern I seen is new people coming into key coding industry charge low at first. I dont encourage it but when they get more confident and build a reputation , then they will charge more.

@@dashtyATG HI Dashy. Great question. I leterally come with my tools to ensure my clients get results. Imagine if you have been called to do add a key on a vehicle, when you accedently erase the orginal key and the car doesnt start. Try and call Ebay and see if the can get you out of that situation. Or if you want to learn how to do programming, im not sure if ebay can help you.
