First time drone buyer who just received my mini 2 last week. While trying to decide on the air2s or the mini 2 I watched many videos here on youtube. I took note of two youtube channels one that I felt was completely full of it…lets just say a kid with an accent and one channel with guy that seemed like straight forward and very knowledgeable and at times brutally honest. That guy is you. I knew if i ordered the mini 2 just to see the 3 drop soon after i would feel sick and you said its gonna be awhile and i got my 2…i seen the nano plus and it didnt take me much research to see they seemed very fishy to say the least and i inew it wasnt coming soon even when they said before christmas…very unprofessional and i now at least for me regardless of how good the nano is when it comes or if it comes im gonna save my 900 dollars and wait for the 3..because its not all about specs..blessings to you and great channel.

@@haroldyazzie3538 I hope you get one of the newer productions because I must’ve got one of the first ones of the production line and it was a piece of fucking shit excuse the language but that’s what it was I sent it back after two days. I hope yours is better than mine was. Now I am very happy Air 2s oh no and still discovering all its features I love it it’s gonna take me awhile to get my head around all the features the mini two is a much simpler machine to learn on.

Yes I have heard that - however I cancelled my order a while back even though I've only just released the video. With the things I had and have planned, I needed the drone weeks ago so it didn't fit the timing 👍

The fact that the Nano and Lite are not sold on the Autel website like the Evo and is only available from foreign vendors did not inspire confidence.

AUTEL Nano + just arrive in Malaysia, but strangely is seem not selling that much. Haven seen anyone review in my country yet. Well i keep my Mavic Air 2 for now.....and see what 2022 will be like for drones

I wanted the Nano+ but didn't want to wait and ended up purchasing a DJI Air 2S three weeks ago and couldn't be happier! I'm a hobbyist and post to IG. The Air 2S checks all of the boxes for me!

But you'll have to register that air 2s... And potentially have to deal with the CRAP geo-fencing of all DJI products! For me, I'd rather wait for for nano hands down

@@sparcsapphiredge3087 Hey Sparc! What are you flying now? Why are folks opposed to registering a drone? All of the rules still apply and it’s like $1.66/year. I live within .5 miles of a Class D airspace and fortunately haven’t run into geofencing issues, yet 🤙

I had been holding on for the Nano + as I had a damaged Mini 2. I made the decision to buy another 2 at the end of November because I wanted to film a couple of events, but mainly because I had lost faith in Autel. I know what I have in terms of quality and service with DJI and I shall now happily stick with my Mini 2 until an upgrade emerges. I guess my brand loyalty to DJI has been strengthened by Autel’s ineptitude.

At-a-way Mate! Many times companies need to be reminded the consumer is still in charge. I'm retired from a very large company and found that the managers and executives at all levels needed to relearn that lesson several times a year. You dropped another hint or two about the your future in there? My question, which you may be able to answer now, is... are you going to CES? If so are you going to interview the Autel folks on camera or, like most of us, wait on the published reports? As always a great report well presented!

@@GetBusyLiving I sure will let you know what I think of the new drone compare to my mini 2. I haven’t actually got a drone at the moment my mini two had a glitch last week. It flew away I took my hands off the sticks and it just kept going I tried a few things to get it back but in the end panicked influence sideways into a tree and because I have a Back it infection could not get to it we tried for five hours to retrieve it but could not find it in the end DJI are sending me a free one they just shipped it today. They must somehow be able to check my data and could see that it wasn’t my fault so instead of the $379 replacement fee they are sending me a free one which I guess will be a a furbished one.

Everyone has their own choice to make but I think you pulled the plug on the Nano at exactly the wrong time. I received an email from RCgoing on the 17th of Dec. that my Nano Plus has shipped. Now this could be BS but I think it is close if nothing else!

Sorry for your loss. We'll, not loss exactly... but "sorry for your inability to gain" doesn't flow as well. I had to go back and see what I said, lol! I wasn't far off: "Oh... they will be late of course. EVERY AUTEL launch has been late. But that won't be limited to some countries. It will be delayed and late EVERYWHERE. If it isn't, it will be almost a first for Autel -almost because the Enterprise Evo 2 actually shipped 2 weeks after announcement." The only place I was completely wrong was that bit about Enterprise Evo 2. They had been teasing it for a year. But they at least held off on the announcement, for ONCE 🙄 Autel ISN'T "getting better" at this. They're overreaching. As you said if you promise and don't deliver you hurt your reputation in ways you can't fix. Such a shame. Great engineering, horrible day to day corporate planning, execution and everything it takes to build success. Randal Warnas dodged a career killer getting out when he did.

I cancelled as well, have to admit I got caught up in all the hype as well. So we'll see what happens next with Autel. I'll wait for in hand reviews before I try purchasing one for myself. Maybe at that point the Mavic mini 3 will hit the shelves. My opinion only.

The Explorer app for the Evo 1 is still broken. I'll never purchase another Autel. I just picked up the DJI Air 2s a week ago and am so happy I did.

And for my usual "2nd comment" even "when" they ship, slowly, haphazardly, and get into users hands "there will be issues" -how well do you expect customer service to function in a company with so many challenges "just delivering"? 🙄 -the quotes pay homage to this video!

You are so lucky you cancelled your order Mike I’m telling you. I have packed mine back in the box and contacting PayPal tomorrow this thing is dangerous and I have no confidence in it one example after the two hours of setting it up I was just practising around my backyard it got down to 15% battery I was hovering about a metre and a half off the ground and if it wasn’t for the grass it would’ve completely smashed the gimbal it just fell out of the sky. It’s an emergency warning on low battery bang.

@@GetBusyLiving Mike what is your opinion on the DJI air 2S have you flown one do you own one I am considering very much as soon as I have confirmation that I can return this dreadful nano plus to go up in weight and price bite the bullet I really want that obstacle avoidance and track. I have a missionary mate and before he goes back to Mongolia we have plans to drive to Bathurst and do a lap around Mount panorama and I want to record with my drone tracking us looking at lots of KZreadrs reviews it looks like it’s the perfect drone for doing that within my price range just within but that is definitely going to Max my credit card yet. Has those goggles been drawn yet as well?

@@MadMax-vy9hk Hi mate - first of all yes the dronemask has been drawn - details on my Community tab. Second, no I haven't flown or owned an Air 2S, but in my opinion, and I have thought about this alot, if I was to go up a weight class, and I have thought about it many times, but current and near future circumstances proclude me from doing so at the moment, I would definitely go the Air 2S. In my opinion it is the best of it's class, and perfect for many things - it's not tooo big, but has great camera and functionality, and to be honest could be all you need for many many years to come. If you think you'll get the use out of it then yes, I'd get one.

Awesome thanks for that a few people have said that on KZread that that is the best drone in its class over actually heard if you say that when people ask their opinion of it they would say it’s the go to drone. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I think it will do exactly what I needed to do as I said my friend the missionary is going back to Mongolia and we have plans of going up Mount panorama Bathurst surely you’ve heard of the place. He leaves in about eight weeks time again and might not get to see him again for years so be nice to do something like that with him that we had planned to do. Big thumbs up mate. As soon as I find out my money is coming back from that disgraceful disgraceful experience of bullying that nano I will be straight in to JB hi-fi or Harvey Norman to get a 12 months interest free payoff with refresh. I took my mini two out yesterday and compare to the nano how trustworthy and pleasurable it was to fly.

Mate, I was glued to the TV last month for the big race! I would LOVE to go there. Love motorsport, V8's and F1 especially.

No vendor in China has the Nano yet but still people like you believe that there are shipping. Give me the address of the factory that ships them and I'll find my people to go buy one drone for me because no one(even the stores) in China has these drones yet. There's no way these drones will be shipped from China and we can't even get 1 drone in China yet.

Yes the feedback is definitely split but I think more people are not satisfied with it than are

Was all primed to buy the Nano plus, but ..yes you were right, it never showed. Cancelled my order. This product has now become irrelevant. Now that Possible DJI mini 3 is on the horizon I'll wait, if not I'll purchase the Air 2s I wouldn't buy off Autel just because of this type of marketing game they pulled.

Shenzhen based Autel vendors are shipping these Nano & Lite products to customers this week. Expect other vendors worldwide to start seeing these products shortly.

I don't blame you one bit. Autel Sky app was just made available this morning here in the US. I'm thinking these units are just about ready to ship. Autel does absolutely suck at communicating with their customers and here in the US they tout themselves as an American company which I think is complete BS. They are run by the parent company out of Shenzen full stop. No one in the US has any say on how the company is run.

@@fanz8689 They have customer service facilities and probably do some R&D but the drones are made in and shipped from China. I ordered my Evo 2 Pro directly from Autel and it was shipped directly from China.

I too think you are wrong, and your over confidence is annoying. CES Las Vegas is coming up and Autel would not be dumb enough to announce featuring this if it were not the case. Perhaps you should get back to telling us just how bad the M3 really is and if the last firmware is any gauge of the one you will get in January you will have more to worry about than the Autel Nano.

Had to dislike this video as the title is pure click bait. From what we know the done is not cancelled you have just cancelled your order. Mavic 3 was released with limited software at a premium price, that to me is worse than not starting when the product will be available. I cannot find anywhere where Autel have started a released date in the UK or USA and I have seen comments on other videos from people who have bought from Chinese online shop will have just recieved shipping notifications.
