It's so nice to read your lovely comments about my son, Chooka! Did you know he sings too? He has a song Stay In This Moment on his channel. Chookaparkertv
you could sit here all day thinking about why someone disliked it but you got think of it. Theres like under 1 percent of the viewers who disliked it. So thats pretty good.
Honestly theres something so profound about the transition and progression of this piece, its not even close to perfect but thats what makes it even better, its something you'll never hear from anyone else.
That first bit with the judges was the most Australian conversation in all of history
2:33 - 3:08 This section makes me zone out every time. To make up something like this on the fly.... no words. Mad respect and appreciation, seriously.
This guy is still humble as pie. I follow him on fb and couldn't ask for a nicer guy still loves all his fans and still is tuning out awesome tunes on the piano Don't ever judge a book by its cover you don't know what they are going to bring out
It starts off like an Australian outback cowboy western. Then it gets deep. Then it gets intense. Then it gets sad. Then he ended it on cheerful goofy happy feeling. He can definitely convey emotion in sound and take us all on a journey. I appreciate so much so musicians and actors and artists that can truly inspire such emotions of the observer.
There is pretty big difference between having musical talent and being a musical genius. Cause in case anyone didn't notice - this is genius. Don't waste your life, man, because human kind needs guys like you. I've never seen anyone communicate with me via piano so easily. Surreal.

Chooka, you said something extremely important that gives us a clue as to why you could be so brilliant. What almost no one realizes is that the electronics we are exposed to today produces harmful ions that harm every cell in our body. The ions actually repel the electrical minerals. This reduces our ATP energy production sixfold. The brain can't do what you do if that is happening. As an example, let's look at this from a different perspective. In the US over 200 years ago, the people went to war with England. Some of the soldiers were barefoot, yet they walked in the cold, windy rain and in the snow sometimes. Some soldiers carried on for months or years this way. They were able to do this because there were no cell towers lowering their ATP. Today, there is not one American who could do what was done as a matter of course 250 years ago. This is what happens when our energy is 1/6th of what it is supposed to be. To keep your talent, you will want to protect yourself with Bliss Disks and the Whirling Bliss Machine, especially since you are more likely to be in places where there are a lot more electronics. Full disclosure, I am the inventor the Machine. You are what can happen with the right attitude and the right ions.

Yes mostly people stucked with his level of playing an instrument but actually the important thing was how he constructing melodies im telling this as a pianist. This kid got raw composing talent i hope he can do something with it
What is great about him. Is that he hasn’t been molested by current media, marketing or other major influences. This is “raw” talent at its best.
Still amazing after hearing all these years. The guy is a prodigy, doing that without any formal musical training. Chooka can easily could be the likes of Mozart, who had natural talent and Europe's best teachers since he was a toddler. His natural understanding of phrasing, musical singing, harmony, chords, colour, virtuosity is a God given gift.
@tommisaaristo7105
2 жыл бұрын
I agree. I come back regularly to listen to this and after all the years this is still probably my favorite musical performances especially because it's all improvised. But I do think formal musical training is very overrated. Learning anything just requires passion and dedication and just "doing it" by yourself. A teacher can only show you something that you'd have figured out by yourself anyway. And if you're really obsessed learning something like Chooka, I bet a teacher would only be hindrance. Like imagine someone is really passionate about figuring out something, and when you try to show them how it's done, they push you away like "sshh! I got this!"

To the haters - it doesn't matter, he still really is that good. Even if you're right, that doesn't change anything. It doesn't matter if he's not really just 16. It doesn't matter if he's not just making it up and it's something he wrote before. He still played that. It was still better than anything you'll ever do. Don't shit on his talent just because you're jealous.

Dear god I have NEVER been so encapsulated by a musical performance before. I've never experienced the kind of feelings I did listening to that. Chooka you are so raw that I truly felt it, i felt your music. It was almost tangible. I could feel it in my skin and my muscles in a way I've never felt before. I hope you see this Chooka, you've touched me.
The coolest thing about his perfomance is that he chooses keep imrovising and not prolonging those amazing moments like in 2:52. If he wants he can prolonge those chilling moments and become a star.

He's the type of genius that would be able to make great money making background music for various things.
