G'day Phil, firstly you need to be commended for undertaking this laborious task every year for the benefit of the community, I'm very happy to have one 2021 MoR's, glad to see that RAM has now confirmed the $2 Vegemite coins at 1M each, surprised that the $1 & $2 Matilda coins come in at 1M each, I was expecting 2M each, even more surprised that Aussie Big coins come in at 0.5M each, I appreciate your analysis. Thanks Peter. Oh, i still think that there is room to up the Matilda's $1 numbers to 2 mil each. It really depends on when exactly they were being prepared for the JULY release 🤣🤣 There is still too much room until the 2023-2024 report is issued. Historically that hasn't happened for the Corporate issues, but you never know.

Wonderful review of the annual report Phil. TBH reading thru the report is a little too much for me, so thanks for highlighting the key points. You did well identifying the Matilda coins correctly, challenge is basically a tackle! I gotta say though, RAM is saturating the market with too many coins. Can’t seem to keep up! LOL 😂

Glad you enjoyed it Send! That's what i thought Send, About the Matilda coins design. But you are right about too many coins, It's getting a bit of a joke really. But i am happy that the most recent ones have had relatively low mintage's. They will be very hard to find in few years.

Excellent breakdown on the annual report Phil, got my fingers crossed that 2021 $1 Mor doesnt get adjusted in the next few years. Went to the Perth national stamp exhibition on thursday, first time i have been to one. Perth mint and the RAM had stands there so i was able to participate in the coin swap, got some 2020 end of ww2 $2 & 2021 indigenous service $2 satches. Shout out to the Purple Penny who mentioned the coin swap on his last video. 👍👍

Thanks for your kind words Paul. There is still a lot of discussion on the 21 MOR. It could well be around for a few years yet. Well done at the Stamp Exhibition. I will have to wait for something to happen here in Melbourne to get some of those packs.

First of all great video and thanks Phil 👍 Secondly on the 2021 mob of roos low mintage and theories as to why an historically low mintage may have occurred being for one of these reasons A. That the mintage figure of 6m has been omitted in oversight (the most unlikely scenario) B. That the mintage of 6m is held in reserve, in storage, lost or forgotten about (more likely than A.) C. That the mintage of 6m is yet to be determined, subject to change or otherwise (more likely than A. and B.) D. That the mintage of 6m is held in reserve in drums that have been gathering dust for two years while the mint completes several corporate orders for Australia post with memorial effigys only to be dragged out by a robot for their accompaniment of the delivery of the King Charles coins in 2023-24 ($1.04 favorite)

Thanks Tim, I don't really have any insight into all those options. I would LIKE it to be just $160k , Basically just out of sets. If there are some kicking around in a Barrel i would have thought that the would still be included in the numbers. But then just look at what they did with the 2021 Donation dollars. What they have done in the past is not what they are doing now.

@@PhilFindsCollects you're spot on in terms of the way that they're doing things now being different to the way that they did things in the past. one look at the annual report would very definitely suggest that. But how differently when one can only reasonably assume that there is a tsunami of 10m coins on the way? Well if the $7.5m 2021DD is any indication there'll be one or two of 10m KC3 coins in every roll over 3-6 months. And when you combine the fact that there have been UNC 2019 IRBs and UNC 2021DDs in alternating rolls and together it's not hard to imagine that there would need to be an accompanying coin put into circulation with the KC3s in lieu of there being no announcement on any corporate or commemorative $1 coins being out into circulation in 2023-24 so why not a 2021 MOR?

It's not as sexy as "Bodies in Barrels" in Snowtown back in the 90s but I maintain that "Kangaroos in Barrels" in Canberra in 2021 remained a legitimate possibility 19🤮 20😵 21😬 22😳👑⚰️ 🪙🪣 🪙🗑️ 🪙🧺 🪣🗑️🧺🛒🚪

Very comprehensive report Phil u are to be congratulated on ur efforts in trying to educate us riff raff.😂😂 It will be interesting to see what happens with the 2020 50c & the 2021$1as I definitely find both hard to find. I have found a way to accumulate 2023 dated coins including $1 MORS, Thanks again Phil. Cheers Dave ps 2023 not strictly circulated but sure some will find it into change

Ive been lucky to find 4 of the 2021 MoR coins noodling. Sold 1 and kept the other 3 which are all in good condition. Sadly combank have put a $100 limit on coins per day, so I get mine from NAB or Westpac and then put them back in the combank machine, which they are now often putting “Out of Order” signs on, even though they actually work if you ask them politely. I wonder if noodling will last many more years.

Hi Charles, Thanks. In my understanding there wasn't an adjustment of the coin, Just the advice of additional coins minted after the 30 June 2022, which is when the 2021-2022 annual report was ruled off. 2022 report shows 12,750 of 15,000 minted 2023 report shows an additional 1,497 of 15,000 minted making a total of 14,247 out of 15,000 minted. That's what happens when coins are under production over the end of financial year period OR When the initial run of coins is under the projected Maximum mintage and the demand for the coins continues so the mint makes more coins for sale.
