'EW' (Elyssa Waterford) has been with the RAM since (at least) last year. She's designed one of the 2023 mini emus and the 2024 'Most Dangerous: Tiger Snake' coins. Can't recall others.

Those dragons coins are nice looking but nothing beats the original ones from 2012

I think the RAM is doing a superb job, their coins are of very high quality in every aspect. It is great for Australia (and the world!) that they have started producing bullion coins and collectables.

It is very cool to see that they are continuing with the bullion coin program, the obverse for the lunar series is really great!

The dragon on the 50 cent looks similar to those on the Chinese cash coins of the 1890s-1910s, but the clouds from Tibetan Sho coins. It looks really nice. I wonder who would win, The Chinese or European Dragon.

Your videos are always interesting and informative. It will be interesting to see ho w the availability turns out on the two coin set .i think i will be able to get a set because they are $1 . Not as popular with some people.

We'll continue to see QEII obverses being used until mid-year at this stage. I think it had something to do with all of the approvals required for the transition although at this point it just seems a bit crazy!

Just a thought, a good thing for on the wall would be one of those 1966 carded sets meant for hanging at the bank (that has the two round 50c coins in it) Also I hate to be that guy but any word on Opal Dragons? I imagine stock is probably been and gone silently but had to ask.

Hmm great question, I haven't actually heard anything beyond the 5oz gold coin but keep an eye on the mints website for any big updates!

The 50c dragon looks abit bloated. The other dragons look too snake like. Where are the dragon scales? So will give them a miss. Nice try RAM. Thanks for update Matt.

@@nellienovacoins you just saw it LoL it was 50 grams of gold plastic display on the video. But... I do have some gold bullion coins LoL Plus alot more, but one KZread video wouldn't cut it, unfortunately.

I can't wait til all the fuss with the lunar coins is over and done with for a while. I've absolutely no interest in them (not that I can't appreciate the skill gone into creating them).
