John Curtin is one of my favorite civs, but he always manages to spawn next to me in most games I play, and my bloodthirst always leads to him disappearing within 30 turns

Thanks for sharing. My love and hate for Alexander, I like his hairdo and his general appearance (nohomo) but he always took it for granted as he overwhelmed me with his armies in 3 turns (deity mode).

To me, John is so wholesome and idk why but I love him.

I’m Aussie and I believe that he is one of our greatest prime. He was a really of an innovator unfortunately we were fight the fighting the Japanese and the Nazis at the time and he died in office 6 week before the end of the war before the end of the war.

@@max8rown he, along with our other prime ministers during the war like menzies and chifley (although he was mostly after the war), were some of the greatest leaders, if not the greatest leaders, Australia has seen, they would be sad to see the direction we are going right now, lets hope we can still change it

​@@ikigaofficial well our politicians (like many nations today) dont care about us, our state and federal governments are quite bad, the federal government, with the backing of the opposition passed a bill giving police more powers, including the ability to hack into peoples social media for example, meanwhile in the state i live, the government wants to introduce legislation giving the state premier even more powers, such as the ability to call lockdowns without anyone elses permission, so very authoritarian moves the government and opposition also supported moves to help kill of emerging small parties by increasing the amount of people needed for a party to be registered we also have a growing obese popuation, immigration rates are ridiculous and most parties (including the government and official opposition) refuse to even ask the population if they want a reduction, despite polls saying most australians saying they are, while we shouldnt go back to the old days where we basically banned non whites, we should definitely have a right to choosing who we want in our country to stop the country from being islamised then we have the rise of china, where the government is being too passive (for example our military is ridiculously small for our countrys size, our airforce in ww2 had more people in it then the entire military today) the opposition is even worse on China, hell even a former prime minister from the now opposition has been trying to convince people china isnt a threat to australia, which is ridiculous that being said, i am very proud to be an aussie and i love my country above all others, i just hope we can get the country back on the right direction, and there has been a pushback against the direction we are going, and some good things have occured, i just hope we can keep Australia, Australian

They do be like that sometimes. The civ AI works in mysterious ways. I had a game where Teddy Roosevelt tells me thanks for keeping the peace around the continent, then immediately I think 1 or 2 turns later he declares war on me.

I had a very fun game as John Curtin once. 500 turns, normal pace, no victories enabled except a score victory. I colonized the Americas and landed cities on most continents. It was great. John Curtin is OP.

Thanks for sharing. They probably skipped that part of design to avoid complication/backlash?, I mean if they would include body/health defect into these characters, pretty sure 50% of them in the game has some sort of those so for the sake of beauty & controversy IF I were the dev, I skip it.

@@ikigaofficial Absolutely. Cleopatra was allegedly masculine looking (though it's postulated that she presented herself that way to be taken more seriously). Alexander the Great had blonde hair and heterochromia. And Gilgamesh probably didn't even exist. The difference is that Curtin was alive very recently. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt what he looked like. But you're probably right about having him look a little silly. The game adopted a cartoony character design, so strabismus would probably make Curtin look ridiculous.
