Or drought , only just finished 4 years of that in Australia, this is just a catch up and fill the dam’s shower.

The last time it flooded that bad in this region was in 1868; I was reading the old records, so it has happened before.

Why your homeland does not make the salt water of sea sweet in so sweetening plants and works. After that you line the sweet water in the desert, the same what South Africa makes. You know, it exists also sweet water rivers under the sea surface are also there in Australia , you can also tap and pipe the sweet water of this rivers in dessert. Even the flood water from monsoon that came to you this month, you can pump and build lakes close to coastal sites all over the country where people live , and make agriculture and farm with it. Even in case of catastrophic forest fire, you can use this water. Also for houses consumption, you can use this water again. Ingenious idea or not?

Very Dangerous

The problem with this country is it's only livable to cities in small parts. So we have 5 major cities in the country in areas with sufficient rainfall. The problem is we get most of that rain in a very short period. Only 1 of those 5 cities is drier than London on average but London gets their rain spread out through drizzle throughout the year. When it rains in Australia it doesn't muck around. It really rains. Some places in NSW which is the state Sydney is in saw rainfall totals rarely ever seen outside the tropics and none of NSW is tropical.

This is evil weather warfare

Add a tinny to your future survival kit. 3 floods in 18 months?

Please take care of you and your loved ones, Including the animals! Who cares about them? There is always help for humans, but animals?
