Wait I just realized with starlight in the bunch the races are balanced out Earth ponies= 2 applejack and pinkypie Pegasus= 2 rainbow and fluttershy Unicorn=2 rarity and starlight And with twilight as the alicorn leader everything is balanced out

I dont think starlights Reformation was that rushed. I mean, if it were just the finale, then yes, but so many aspects were foreshadowed: Starlights origin story was told in more Detail in "Bloom and Gloom", just hers didnt have Luna in it. The way Twilight managed to "defeat" Starlight was built up to in"what about discord" and "the hooffields and mccolts"!You guys asked once, why the map took so Long to give twilight a Mission: it waited untill discord made twi learn a lesson about jealeousy and that even princesses can have flaws. Think about it: Twilight was jealeous during all the other map episodes, cause she couldnt go, but didnt want to admit it. And on many occasions she had the mindset, that as a princess/celestias star-Student, she had to succeed at Things, like writing the counterspell in the second movie, or the Season 3 premiere. Without discords lesson, twi would have been less likely to stop trying to defeat starlight and started to try to understand her. And starlights Motive was jealeousy: When she lost her friend, no one cared, but if twilight loses her friends, the world explodes, its like she didnt matter. Twilight telling her, that shes important too, and that her broken friendship also contributed to the apocalypse is what convinced her,

Actually Cadence was born a pegasus so she earned her horn. Which makes Rarity's comment all the more weird since any pony race can become an alicorn. You'll either get wings or a horn (or both).

That's exactly what I always thought because I looked it up that she was born a Pegasus, but she was an orphan and she raised by Earth ponies until she was noticed by Celestia and then she was made an Alicorn by Celestia

An Excellent season premiere really enjoyed it. Really really hoping we start seeing a whole lot more of Flurry later on in the series. Maybe she goes to the CMC to get there help to find her purpose that would be awesome.

Did you guys notice the changeling in the last scene

While it's not one of my favorite premieres it isn't bad. I think what I liked most about the premiere were Spike, Starlight, Sunburst and Shining Armor's moments more than the others. Shining Armor's freak out moments were hilarious, loved it. I was more interested in the StarlightSunburst subplot more than the Princess Flurry Heart's plot (my honest opinion here). Spike was great in this as well. (My opinion again). Wow you're all together for a reaction, nice. Loved your guys reaction, can't wait for more. XD

“Dash is doing better than the princesses” Dude spoke too soon. The princesses were destroying more clouds but the clouds keep popping up. Dash’s wings froze after a few destroying while the princesses are still flying.

Flurry Heart used Screech. Defense fell...

Great reaction guys! Hehe, btw, that Male Stallion you guys saw in Starlight's flashback was a direct Sailor Moon reference to the character Kunzite. In the first season of Sailor Moon Crystal he was a baddie but in a past life he was a follower of the main male protagonist, King Endymion aka Mamoru aka Tuxedo Mask. Kunzite was also the love interest of Sailor Venus of that lifetime too. Kunzite is a name of a gem and it's pink. The stallion was right next to the Venus pony (Sailor Jupiter and Mars also had pony versions of themselves).

Changelings feed on love, and who gets more love than a baby, afterall? Not sure if this will be a mid-season story arc, or if we're going to see baby drama throughout the whole season before Chrysalis shows up for a finale. This episode is as far as I've seen, so going to have to wait and see.

It weird when people say for Celestia to do something she could easily have beaten every enemy with the elements since she represents them all, Twilight magic is nothing without her friends. Celestia beat nightmare moon, discord, sombra, tyrek and many others. In season 1 premiere Celestia gave the elements to Twilight and friends in some episodes like Crysalisis power of Jay love crysalsis absorbed + celestia working all day and during the end of the day, then test twilight for rest of the serie I guess Terek but the elements are given to twilight only she can use them
