If you're not into cars, or burnouts then I get that this would be very disruptive and annoying. People also gotta understand that other people don't have the same interests as you do, and are not going to find that extreme level of noise exciting or good. A letter informing your neighbours that you plan on making a huge bit of noise few days to a week before the event goes a long way to keeping people happy. Other people are not obligated to like this stuff like we do, and if I worked shift work and was trying to sleep, I'd also find this annoying no matter how much I liked it. People just need to have consideration for others.
