You should really watch her perform this live at the Nidarosdomen. It’s breath taking and so mesmerizing

I hope you dive deeper into the Aurora rabbit hole… she is so diverse in her musical spectrum and NEVER disappoints.

Live is about her as a person. Her music videos are about her art and creativity. Especially since she now has 95% of the control over it. The documentary "Once Aurora" might explain how that happened. Both live and produced are great in their own way. Her life is an interesting one. She's had a great childhood but also lost a lot of people she was close to. One from the 2011 Norway attacks. For which she wrote the song "Boy in the Grass", not the best song but the history behind it is deep. And "Lucky" which is a must from the Nidarosdomen concert at least. Might be why her audience ranges form teen girls to old war vets. Despite all that, she shows a way to move forward in a lot of her music. And every album she does has a different sound. Yet somehow still Aurora.

This song is STUNNING!! There’s a version with an orchestra at the Nidarosdomen Cathedral in her home country, Norway. The whole concert is magical, I dare calling it a spiritual experience, it’s mesmerizingly beautiful Aurora live is ALWAYS better because she is the music, she feels every note with her body and you can see it even though the screen. If you’re interested in getting to know a different side of her, I highly recommend her perform of All Is Soft Inside at KEXP 2018 in Iceland. Björk was in the crowd and the whole concert was so cool! 💜

there are soooo many good songs she made. and each song is interpreted in so many variations. try 'black water lilies' from 'honda stage' and compare it with the 'sxsw' version and you will see.

Very nice reaction😊 I love this song and live performance, and it really makes me feel so much😍 My favourite performance of this song is from Nidarosdomen 2017 Fun fact: The whole song was played in the series “The 100” (season 4 in the end of episode 12) She has so many great songs, no bad songs imo I recommend: “The Seed” live at the HAIK concert 2019 “All is soft inside” live at KEXP Iceland 2018 “Soft Universe” live at Nidarosdomen 2017

Great reaction Sir! Hope you come to homarusgammarus suggestion. Lucky Live in Nidarosdomen. For me that is the best performance ever been made and that is a bold statement. That one is emotional rollercoaster and she wrote that in a very young age and it´s very dark and in the same time sort of positive song. See ya soon in a Aurora reaction.

Just subscribed. Seen her live and it's amazing. Aurora is quirky, funny and has a beautiful personality. She's a nature lover, and a bit of an empath. She is best watched live, she get's so lost in her performances that you at times see her have to physically shake herself back from where she went. Try "Lucky" live at Nidarosdomen.

You have so much to see, and I am so happy I get to be with you on it! Aurora is so good live and has just grown more and more on the stage. I recommend the KEXP concert (2018, with the most views), her cop26 concert from 2022, her HAIK concert it is also a documentary about Aurora but i undestad that some youtuber only do music reactions.❤ aher nidarosdomen concert is also very good Her live performance murdersong 5,4,2,1 on the nobel Peace Prize is also really good!

Anything live! Even her live covers of other artists like the Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Imagine Dragons David Bowie and a few others. She makes the songs uniquely her own.

This was technically live, but not her usual. Might want to start with her early stuff. Nidarosdomen concert. The whole concert is great. Aurora does not copyright reactions. In fact both her and her mother often watch them. (With the exception of a few 3rd party studios on some productions she was in.)

I think ethereal might be the word you are looking for. It is certainly the one that came to my mind the first time I saw her sing in a video. The very first time I heard her sing was in an episode of The Flash. It was her Murder Song and it was so...just different, very haunting, and got under my skin and then I had to go and listen to everything she had on KZread at the time. It wasn't even that much of the song, maybe the first verse or two. But it was something that really grabbed me. So that one, definitely. I also really like Running with the Wolves. It's got some interesting tempo changes and percussive beats and a weird video that I think makes sense, but maybe not.

For a different side of Aurora, watch her video Cure For Me. It’s one of her most fun upbeat songs but as always with her with a serious message. It’s a protest against conversion therapy practiced in some countries to “cure” homosexuality. She’s bisexual and regardless of what anyone thinks of that they should respect her courage. I’m hetero and I do. As a little girl in Norway she spent a lot of time in the forest with the animals day and night and has always been “special.” She was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her music and thoughts. 😊

Well, there is not a song of hers that is not great. Watch her live. You can choose any song from the Nidarosdomen concert, for example. Or from the Honda Stage. Or from her Vevo performances. Or if you have a preferred genre, we can suggest specific song for you, because her work is quite eclectic. Looking forward for your next reaction!

My suggestion is an accoustic version of Queendom: Aurora - Queendom - 5/25/2018 - Paste Studios - New York, NY kzread.info/dash/bejne/pI6Yq8-KlpqYl5c.html I don't see it suggested very often because usually people suggest the usual suspects such as "Murder Song" and "Runaway" from the Peace Prize Concert 2015 - which are honestly amazing. So go for them. Also the concert at Nidarosdomen will be suggested which honestly is probably the concert I'd wanna travel back in time just so I could be in the audience. However, my suggestion shows more of her playful and silly side - which I think is a big part of her personality as well. In any case you can't go wrong with any of the suggestions... 😊🤷‍♂

I don't think there is a particular order to listen to here. I belive, 99.99% of her songs, videos, but evens interviews (because, yes, she is so unique) is juste out of the ordindary. Amazing.

Which song next? Which order to listen? Neither really matter, once you are hooked you will want to listen to all of them. But, how about another side of her talent? Covering other artists ... Aurora - «Life on Mars» (David Bowie) : kzread.info/dash/bejne/nX5km5eMYLDTnqQ.html

For me the Nidarosdomen version of this is better. Note there are many live versions of Aurora that do not get copywrited. I hate over the top prevention.
