Towards the end, when she touches the statue, Aurora is the fire that Prometheus stole from the gods to animate the human race that he had sculpted in clay. She is the spark of life that created us all. You can see her representation of fire in the spinning dance.

Yes, there's a lot of social criticism in Aurora's video. With Rasputin it is also worth listening to the lyrics. It's a true story. Or rather, it is history.

Indeed Rasputin is a historical figure and is a fascinating read. So much drama, controversy, gossip and strife. You would do well to read up on him, then read the song lyrics. Aurora's version is the best I've heard to date. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grigori_Rasputin

I like some symbolism from the video and the whole idea taken from Greek Mythology - f.e. in this video you can find symbolism regarding fire stolen from gods by Prometheus (Aurora dancing like fire and blending especially on the end of video but also at the beginning). I also really love Midas Touch for the TV series (recent release)

Wholesome and genuine reaction as always! I'd recommend reacting to Eve Of Destruction by The Chemical Brothers feat. AURORA. It's very different from what you're used to hearing and seeing her in but still very cool, and the music video is fire 🔥

Trust your judgement when choosing a piece of Aurora's music. Most will applaud any choice you make and your reactions so don't hesitate. Your intuitions are always right on, but you don't take away our rights to interpretation which is cool.

Aurora’s inspiration for «Giving in to the love» partially came from the Greek legend of Prometheus. «I was thinking of Prometheus, and how he stole the fire to sculpt us - the humans…I feel like we sometimes forget that we are living creatures, capable of many beautiful things. And the human’s current obsession with beauty makes us forget and devalue the fire that rests within us. Our inner self, and most important part» ~ Aurora Aurora’s dress and the way she dances around the sculptures resembles a flame or fire…so it makes sence since Prometheus was the inspiration of the song. Its about self-image. What Aurora is basically saying is that no one is perfect. However, we are placed in a world where we often feel we have to be. Such is manifest by being encouraged to strive for an ideal look, presenting yourself as being confident and flawless, etc. As Aurora puts it, none of us are ‘angels’, and believing that we should be, can cause internal conflict and low self-esteem. You can let the TV or others dictate your ideologies if you want, but as for her personally, she is more concerned with promoting love. The title of her new upcoming album is «The Gods We Can Touch”. All of her new songs has some connection/inspiration to different myhological greek Gods/Legends. The sculptures in the video is perhaps all those Greek Gods.

Man this music video is so beautiful. I only saw it once before this reaction and I just realized when she's spinning around and the statues are waking up, the spinning overlay looks like fire. That's great artistic direction. Good reaction! Your surprise and smile at the end was really contagious 🥰

Oh, Fern, that's lovely. So many reactors have noticed that suddenly they pay attention to the lyrics. And I guess the smile on her face in the end came because the was another P3 challenge with almost no time to prepare. And the video - just another video masterpiece from Aurora. So nice to see your reaction and how you gave in!! And what else is there to do about it?

Thanks ! .. I think the video is made in Baroniet in Rosendal / Hardanger ( some hours driving east/ south of Bergen ) : she talked about beeng able to " borrow" a castle in Norway ... This castle is famous for doing a lot of concerts of all kind off music . On topp we have ouer great pride and joy : Leif Ove Andsnes. Have a nice sunday !

Rosedal was where she finished her album. I’m pretty sure this video is recorded in Havlystparken. A beautiful park at Ramme gård (Ramme farm) in Hvitsten, Norway. At Ramme you will find Havlystparken, an unparalleled park with its location and views out to the fjord. Here you will find everything from the Norwegian to the exotic: Flower alley, herb garden, fruit and rose groves, meadow and arboretum. Everything is taken care of by employees who work all year round to bring out the best nature has on offer for all seasons. The park also contains sculptures that span from antiquity via mythology and classical style to our own time. Here you can experience works by artists such as Frans and Nico Widerberg, Peter Linde, Marian Heyerdahl and Per Ung. Search «Havlystparken Ramme gård» and you will see for yourself 😉

You are so spot on with your Aurora interpretations in my mind... I don't just love Aurora's music I love knowing there are other people in the world that see her and life in a similar manner to me. It's comforting, so always appreciative of your pauses and comments. Good on you for standing your ground lovely. Plenty of us right behind you. There's always one or two. But each to their own I guess. And so many people having bad days these days. I've been known to swipe at some reactors too on those days. Eeek. Confessions of a different kind. :)
