Nice reaction 👍 “Through the eyes of a child” from this concert is one of my favourite performances by her, I have a lot of favourites though 😅😍 “Through the Eyes of a Child is one of the most important songs for me. It's about, the older you get, the more you see, and it's kind of like you miss the times when you thought everyone was nice, and that everything was nice, because it's hard to know all the darkness. Also we have lots of light, and I know that as well. But it's kind of like wanting to go back to the innocence, and see the world through the eyes of a child. It's a very important song for me." AURORA “‘It Happened Quiet’ and ‘Churchyard’ - which is about someone that is stronger… a grown up with a child, a teacher with a student - someone that takes advantage of their power and uses it in the wrong way. It’s inspired by domestic violence.” AURORA “In my more delusional stories like ‘It Happened Quiet’ and ‘Churchyard’, the victim comes back to haunt the one that hurt them.” AURORA The last part of this concert, “Murder Song” a bit different version of the one you’ve reacted to before, and “Life on Mars” by David Bowie. Looking forward to this😍👍👍

She writes it down I guess.... she has said that she don't read/write notes, she play everything by ear.

I think your long haired friend was describing the aspects of childishness. I think Aurora is describing the aspects of being childlike. As in wonderment and being untainted by the corruption of the world. Our true essence before it is corrupted. Childishness is not the same as childlikeness. I think Aurora is a living example of how you retain the essence of your inner child while being wise and having your eyes wide open as opposed to naive/innocent and blind as you so negatively implied. If the rest of us could be more like her, the world would be a much better place. Instead we think being cynical and numb is maturity. Be in wonderment and feel EVERYTHING. But be Warrior and who cares if you’re a weirdo? Release your need time be too cool and unaffected. You’ve missed the point otherwise.

How can anyone dare to Start to speak at min 7:45? It is a kind of a pitty, that the female reactor here is constantly distracted and doesnt really get it…

People absorb music differently, if you don't want any distractions then just watch the concert itself.

Kai, you also have to realize these reactors are a young couple (its even in their name) and the subject matter of these two songs is very deep. In time these songs will have a much different meaning to them. I'm in my early 60's and I didnt get it til after a few listens and doing a little research. It's just hard to understand how some one as young as Aurora can sing about these subject matters and be spot on.

@@nerve60 Aurora is also young and has avoided cynicism and the traps of needing to be too cool and unaffected. Show me the young person who can do that… whole point of the song.
