I know how you feel when you say you feel as though you need to gasp for air. Aurora pulls me in completely, it's like I'm being transported into her world. She is one of the few artist that can actually make me cry. I swear to god, I'm an adult man and I was sobbing when I watched her performance of Murder Song

She does go somewhere else! I feel you girl, I almost go into a trance watching her sing, and the world seems to fades away. I am convinced she was sent from another dimension, lol as some sort of portal. She taps into our universal language and reminds us how we really All are connected to each other beyond superficial things. Her voice somehow manages to sound ancient/ old and sacred while also sounding very pure and childlike. She's incredible! Great review! :) You have to check out "The Seed" at the Haik or the studio version, both Amazing.

I need to gasp for air - exactly!! AURORA is AMAZING!

My interpretation: This song is kind of a rape and revenge story. The boyfriend goes too far and rapes his girlfriend ("love is wild"). After that he kills her for fear of the consequences. Her soul dies during the rape. Inwardly she falls apart into "a thousand pieces" (the "crying land" is her soul), even though she was as strong as a "stone" before and is "broken into sand". She is in shock. She can only scream inside ("silent call"). When he murders her, she bleeds out to death and she look "like a flower on the medow" in his bed. Then he buries her bloody body outside the window (red ground). After that she came back ("return from the shadows") as his guilty conscience (or as Ghost) and this (her) voice in his head is louder than his own ("don't you speak over my voice"). She bleed in his bed, turn it red again and again. She will always haunt him.

That's a good interpretation!...I interpreted it as they were fighting "words falling out of a window, all the remains is a silent call" and she may have been choked so that was a silent call/cry for help... and she was pushed out the window....hence "is the earth colored red as I land like a flower on the meadow...." And it ends with "and I'll bleed in your bed, turn it red like the ground outside your window...." So that's why I thought she died as she hit the ground. But that's why I love her songs! She even said herself she leaves it open for us to interpret! 👍

It's definitely not just you. There is something about her beyond just that angelic voice. Maybe it's how real she is. Maybe it's her emotional connection to the music. Maybe she is actually some supernatural being here to try to save us from ourselves. Whatever the case, she radiates some strange kind of magic in every performance. I've never seen anything like it, and I doubt I ever will again.

There is nothing wrong with you..... I also forget to breathe when she sings like that.... 😀
