I still remember the video of him on the floor in agony cause playing like that would tear his back up

love that no matter what song Matt is playing, he's always giving 110%. shows that he truly takes pride in the drum parts he writes. and giving a beaming smile while absolutely ripping it. love this dude so much.

Matt Greiner is one of the best drummers to ever live. I put that on everything. He's so much more than just fast. He's unbelievably technical and had an incredible sense for fills. Not to mention the complex rhythm patterns he can basically do in his sleep.

My favrotie thing about Matt is how he layers everything. I like to think of it like he's building a multi layer cake. He adds so many different ingredients (bells, cymbals, etc..) to create these very intricate yet groovy drum beats. truly a visionary and pioneer in his craft.

You guys should release a Matt Greiner sample pack, these tones are killerr.

Perfect technique. Every fill is guided and intentional. This is the kind of technique my old drum teacher would have told me to look up to.

This man got me into drums back when I was 13-14 (I'm 26 now) thank you for helping me discover my love for drums.

I’m a guitarist and do some scream vocals but the one thing I always always always pay attention to in any ABR or Trivium song is the drums. Every single time.

From 0:28 to 0:40 is honestly some of the most insane drumming I have ever seen. To be able to stay on beat with all those different patterns is just nuts. Matt Greiner one of the best to ever do it.

I think this just got me back into August Burns Red. I remember how inspired I felt hearing and then learning Back Burner on guitar back in 2008 and this song brought back that same feeling. That's the mark of great musicians in my book :)
