    does anyone know the proper torque specs for that vacuum pump, the 3 large bolts? Can't seem to find it online...one video the shop did 8 Nm on a 2016 Tiguan and another on a 2013 they did 20 Nm...?

    Is there a trick to re-installing the pump? I removed mine to replace seals and gaskets and now can’t re-install?

    @@BotMechanic you have to take the high pressure fuel pump off the vacuum pump. It puts force on the cam lobe which will not allow it to go on.

    @@djkane444 you literally just saved my ass thank you so much. I was so confused as to why they were taking the HPFP off of it in other videos and they didnt care to explain. It just barely went straight on. Thanks so much!!!
