You can take the caliper off and see if you can unseized the brake caliber. make sure the emergency brake cable is not stuck. If that doesn’t work, then you probably have to replace the brake caliber.

I got my 07 MK5 GTI throwing a P0171 and P0507. I replaced my break booster vacuum lines as they were cracked to hell. In the process broke my coolant diverter valve so new now. Lol Problem is the P0171 is still coming on. Sometimes while driving in first or second gear to rpms pump up to 3~4K and while driving I get a hesitation in acceleration. Plus when put a full tank of gas and smash down the road my oil pressure goes to zero.

That code is a pain in the butt. Somewhere along the line you still have a vacuum leak. I'm having a similar issue but my code is p2178. I did everything that I can do to fix it and it is still popping up.

If it’s hesitating you probably need to change spark plug and coil

I had P0171 in my MK5 & some random misfire code. Replaced Pcv and bam fixed, smoked the system found small leaks and those were fixed and last thing I could think was a valve in PCV stuck open surely enough that was it

Hey Antonio, i hope you see this and can reply quickly. I noticed you cut the part where you got the hose out of the firewall... How did you eventually remove it?! I assume it's also normal for it to be hissing air as you are pulling it out? I can't remove this damn thing and don't want to break anything else (I don't care about the hose/valve). Any help would be appreciated!

@@BROOKLYNNITRO Right on man, thank you for replying quickly. I finally got it out after working it with a panel trim tool for a bit. When it finally gave, it was like stupid easy. 😂. Appreciate the help either way, and I'm sure someone will be coming into this comment section at some point in the future with a similar issue so hopefully it'll help someone else. ✌️

I didn't have any brake issues. Check all your vacuum hoses that come off the vacuum pump. If all of those are in good shape. I would get my brake booster checked out.
