I would always go with Floret Silver on any Audi car. From the colors you showed I would go with green. The R8 is an interesting car though. It looks good in every color.

Autogefuhl is the most comprehensive, proffesional, enjoyable and exciting car reviewer out there. It is outright the best...the ultimate! I love the videos! Keep up the great work! ( I especially like the in depth analysis and reccomdations i.e. the sport seats are much more comfier than the buckets and the sat nav comes with an initial free period of the street (pictured) overlay ....this Audi r8 spider is amazing also....My favourite car at the moment. Wish I had 250k to spend, I'd buy her in either white or blue right away and this would be the only convertible i'd ever own and i somehow like the lines more of the spyder then the coupe. Nice premium review again! Cheers

Fantastic sound of the V10 engine!! The interior looks fantastic!! But I think the R8 looks better as a Coopé :)

introducing music (tone) is grate! (even better than the car sound)

Great review as always :) will there ever be a Huracan Review?

I like the more aggressive/edgier look on this new R8 than with previous version. Did not really miss trademark "side blade ". Only fault I could find is with the rear which isn't as good. Cabin is also simpler yet better. Loving that V10 wail.. Top Stuff Thomas.

stunning presentation Thomas......it's gotta be Dynamite Red for the win,the Ara blue crystal cars looks like Ascari Blue.....?????

This is probably my favorite spec of the R8 series. I don't need 602 HP and I'm not crazy about the 2019-2020 facelift. I'll be looking around for a 2017 spyder pre-owned. An Aura blue, 20" wheels, with black interior and blue diamond stitching would be nice.

I'd go for Nardo grey with Black wheels and Classic Red interior

I love the yellow with Black convertible top. Same as my first real car ('68 Pontiac LeMans)

Great video, i miss the 50/60 fps tho :)

I wouldn't call that a "bright blue" colour. Doesn't look very bright to me :) I know much brighter and nicer blue metallic paints used on some cars.

I'd go with Tango Red metallic. It's a much darker red. The Dynamite Red looks to orange for my liking.

Have you done the AMG GT S? Be sure to do the GT R when possible please. Great review on this r8, like the new small changes in the review

Tolles Video👍🏽 Stimme dir in allen Punkten zu, bis auf bei einem und zwar bei den Sitzen. Ich persönlich sitze mit meinen 1.90 in den normalen Sportsitzen total schlecht. Wenn das Dach zu ist, komme ich ständig mit meinem Kopf oben gegen den Stoff = unangenehmes Gefühl. Durch die Cup Sitze kann ich den Stuhl viel tiefer einstellen und dadurch habe ich in der Höhe und in der Länge mehr Platz. Keine Ahnung wieso, aber wollte ich nur mal erwähnen 😅

Hi Thomas, I am German and have to say that I really enjoy your reviews on English, very good idea to broaden your audience..and I feel like that I do like this even more than German reviews! One question: Did you try driving with 120km/h+ with the glass windshield extended and with the glass windshield + optional windshield installed? I saw that all the time on the Autobahn no windshield was installed. How windy is it with them installed, also compared to the old R8 Spyder? Any improvements in this area? The old R8 Spyder is quite windy from 80km/h upwards. Keep up the good work!!

i agrre with both of you, i miss the old sidespoiler and also the front was not so tt like, but the interrrior and back in the new is so much better in my oppinion

ArtYourMinds​ Like you, some say they prefer the back of this new R8 better than that of the previous version, but not the front. Others say the prefer the looks of the new front end better, but not the rear end. Different folks for different strokes, I guess! At least you seem to like the looks of both. All I know is that (for me) they both are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. And I would like to have them both inside my garage. I must say that I did not like the looks of the new R8 that much, when I first saw it. But it has grown on me, rapidly. And, now, I absolutely love it!!! Well done, Audi!

I totally agree with you. The first gen was a meaner, more agressive look. It's like they softened the look on the new car to appeal to more people.

Thomas, Please review 911 turbos convertible. I would like to see if your opinion on the best supersport car will change from this one.

Hey, ganz klar: Nein. Den R8 kauft man, _weil_ er teurer ist.

Auto is schon sehr cooool, aber für 200 Tsd. hab ich da einige andere Knaller als Favorit . Wenn dann, Grün mit den Braunen Sitzen sehr EDEL ;-)

Sucks that the non-plus ones don't have the extra buttons on the steering wheel on US cars! Come on Audi.

I like the predecessor better, especially in black. This car and the early TTs are great styling efforts by Audi, which seem to be generally the Honda of German automotive styling. For the price, I'm not sold. That said, very few cars are styled 'correctly' to my eye. I'm too tall at 2.0 m. Not a fan of the sound, not throaty enough, and too loud.

Maybe I have to do a video on this =) Engine light is always on when ignition is turned on to say "I do work". When the light is on WHILE driving, then it's bad.

he is tall and also car is very low ... in real life its a lot smaller but a lot wider than you think

there are regular grade reviews and then there are Thomas grade reviews aka lada niva compared to Mercedes s class
