Installing $10 dynamic LED side mirror indicators in #Audi Q3 (8U). It's a plug & play replacement, no coding required. Only basic tools needed. Without 30 minutes you can refresh the look of your car with modern style turn signals in mirror caps. Here I'm trying to show you how to do it yourself.
🛠 First you need to remove the mirror insert. I'm using suction cup with prying tool to release it from the adjustment plate. There are connectors for the heating mirror. Next there are two screws that need to be removed from inside of the mirror assembly. After that you can start to remove the wing mirror cap upwards, gently prying locking pins and wiggling the cap. When it's removed you can unscrew the factory indicator, slide it out (there's a plastic lock that you need to pry), install #dynamic LED replacement part and put everything back together.
ℹ️ I got this retrofit kit from AliExpress.Box included also a torx driver and prying tool. The same indicator design is used in many other Audi cars.
