Its not a bug , you are supposed to put yourseatbelt before the brake disengage. Its working as intended

Dont need the seatbelt at all, PUSH THE BUTTON DOWNWARDS!! Down on the button is to disengage the parking brake

You push the handbrake button down to disengage it... pull tab up for handbrake on, push down for handbrake off... far out, technology is too hard for some people.

Got stuck again, still havent fixed my car. Came back to this video and boom, back on the road 😊

Thank you so much. On my A4 what worked is changing gears before I put on my seatbelt. Sometimes its just a stroke of luck that it releases the first time around, sometimes it takes a few attempts. By that time my anxiety is through the roof. Cost of living crisis means I can't fix my car right away😢

Place you foot on the brake and press the button down work as well

Seat belt light is on so it shows what's wrong for automstic release. Manual release need to press button down.

If you have the hand brake malfunction problem this is the solution as my handbrake was stuck on, the button would not engage..

I have that problem now. Parkingbreak malfunction and the handbreak wont go off, but it wont let go when i have seatbelts on. Tips?

TK 02 not sure, I had the switch itself replaced and that fixed it

Push down and when you switch off parking break, press up you switch on parking break

What about if the parking brake is blinking and does not disengage

TK 02 no we were able to release the emergency break but now a beeping sound stays on for about 40 sec.

I recommend wearing seatbelt. I feel naked without one myself. But yes, I agree they should display more than just seatbelt light if it's disabling the car!

You know you can just hold the handbrake button down for 2 seconds right? You don't need that "gadget"

@@AlexJoita88 Ah ok it works on my A6 but I have a manual gear box so maybe its different. If I push the button down/forward then lift the clutch up the handbrake release's when I'm not wearing a seatbelt.

@@nikiczech6648 Yes! You`ve right. On manual gear box this problem doesn`t exists because you have the clutch pedal:). At automatic gear box the clutch is operated by ECU.

Nu inteleg aluzia ta cu Dacia.... Din punctul meu de vedere, asa cum am spus si in video, era foarte ok sa afiseze ca trebuie sa cuplez centura de siguranta pentru a se decupla frana de mana. Ce e asa greu? Si oricum, nu mi se pare o chestie inteleapta ca frana de mana sa se decupleze DOAR cand ai centura pusa si accelerezi. Cum o activezi din buton, asa mi se pare logic sa o si dezactivezi...sau macar sa fie si asta o varianta. cu toate astea, nu inteleg de ce esti asa suparat:)...lucrezi la AUDI?:)
