I dont think the older 8P models had turbo muffler deletes. I would check FCP Euro for plugs.

These are great suggestions. Do any of these parts void the warranty?

Honestly on the FWD 1.8 just go stage 1 should be plenty lol

Have not been able to find the turbo inlet pipe for the 2010 Audi A3 8P 2.0 TFSI on the ECS site. Do you know where I might be able to find it? Also, could you point me to the turbo muffler delete as well. Thanks in advance. Hernando

I don't think those older 2nd gen models had turbo mufflers. If you've exhausted searching for inlets likely not something available for that platform unfortunately.

@@leo-hy6jw I need to put a link to my drivetrain mount video I made a while back. (I'll do that) it's not too bad. The stainless steel mount from APR is one of the more rigid options. I'm running the pendulum mount too so it does have some NVH. Really up to the person

Should not cause any issues as long as they are installed correctly

Hey savage panda sorry to bother but can you please help me with a issue i have on my audi a3 it was perfectly fine but after i installed big bore turbo inlet pipe and silicone intake inlet hose my car turned on its epc light i bought eqt coil grounding kit to see if it may remove epc light but its still on what can be the issue i also was told the camshaft position magnet may be stuck and be the problem as well as sticky solenoids please help i also reprogrammed the pedal position sensor and nothing im also having low boost code.

What's happening! my 2 cents for what its worth...so with that situation adding a basic inlet pipe, intake etc would not likely cause any drivability issues. I have seen some of the higher mileage EA888 gen 3 motors start to have issues with faulty cam magnets, leaking seals as well as camshaft actuators etc. Get it to a shop where they have the right resources to assist you. VCDS, ODIS etc.

I have a ? RS7 plugs I have a A3 2018 facelift FWD my car is not turned only have turbo muffler delete inlet pipe OEM filter box with K&N filter CTS CAT BACK THE REST IS ALL STOCK ENGINE SHOULD I UPDATE TO THE RS7 plugs with OEM COILS PACKS OR GET THE PACKS AS WELL ????

RS7 plugs are great for stage 1-3 cars. Follow gap specs for the brand software you are running. APR ignition coils are typically the most popular.

Great video 💪🏻 Have an A3 myself (8V Sportback 1.8 TFSI S-Tronic) and looking to make some more mods than I already have done. How much different is the aftermarket turbo inlet pipe vs the bone stock? Also, look forward to see more of your vids, subscribed :)

Just picked up an A3 gonna start with these mods....one question, does the APR intake come with a filter to go with it that you put inside the intake?

Yes the intake does include the filter. But for the GTI/A3 you'll need the secondary air filter that is sold separately

My Audi A3 1.8T has a censor on the intake and I can’t put the apr intake since there is a censor... are there any cooler intakes for an Audi A3 1.8t 2018 it has to be for 2018 bc of the censor

Yes always check gap specs with the tune your running (apr, IE, unitronic)

late to the party, but recently purchased a the 140kw A3 eith ther missus. Now, the thing is i couldnt get an s3 let alone an Rs3 because she didnt want a racecar lol. so what are some low key mods you would suggest that would improve my power but wont be noticeable for her eg: loud exhaust bigger turbo. looking to tune it after i do some mods on the lowkey without her noticing lmao

Also I reckon it would be cool for your next vid to do lowkey sleeper mods to it. Because I can't imagine peoples faces when they are getting gapped by me a stock looking a3 with a baby on board sticker 😂😂

It does add a little bit of vibration. Not Terrible though. It's a give and take. Better shifts for sure though.

Can you do the same to a TDI?

@Savage Panda Projects how much do they run. I want to do down pipe and stage 2. I don't want to touch intake cause it's an audi and the stock one better than most. I looked it up said 650 and u have to find a dealer. Is it 650 altogether or are they gonna charge a fee? I would do myself but don't have cable but I think for 650 it comes with one

Air filter you mean correct ... also I have a gen 3b engine 2019 Audi A3 .....there is a sensor by the intake hose and the apr part you recommended on the website says it won’t fit ..... any others you recommend..... thanks again man I look for your advice a lot as I don’t know about cars but want to get into it

@@dannyrojas5778 you could do something simple like the mods listed in the video. (turbo inlet pipe, maybe a drop in filter etc) totally up to you! Full air intake systems are nice but they get super expensive

@@savagepandaprojects Ya I used to leave a copy of that in my passenger seat with previous cars whenever I took it to the dealer for service lol. I was worried more about the turbo inlet pipe being blamed for turbo failure

@@johninserra2979 That's a good thing to keep handy just in case. I really wouldn't worry about it. I mean it's a nice basic airflow mod. The OEM inlet elbow is really small and restrictive. Aftermarket inlets are usually a larger diameter and also better construction like cast aluminum not thin plastic. Totally up to you my friend, I'd say use your best judgement 👍

No lie 2016 prem 1.8 kept up with a 2012 mustang gt

Dogbone mount will cause significant increase in vibration, which is very irritating. I don't recommend this at all.

That can also depend on the type of mount. (polyurethane/ stainless steel) Most guys are willing to accept a little vibration in exchange for better shifting and drivetrain rigidity especially when making stage 2 power and up. Lots of advantages to upgraded pendulum and dogbone mounts. I suppose it comes down to personal preference and the use of the car

I would start with stage 1! If you don't want an actual "Tune" you could always do a JB1 or Neuspeed power module. Hope that helps!
