No host of any show is ever 100% in sync with Aubrey. Not even Craig. Seth somehow managed it. He kept up with all the curves and tangents without a dead end. Aubrey giving straight up answers is some kind of miracle as well. Amazing.

She was on Colbert last week, and the Christmas Witch bit was, I would say, not at all restrictive...in fact, she was more unhinged and into the character than she is here, and just as much "herself" as well.

Interesting how Aubrey seems so much more at ease in her sexy witch costume than she normally is onstage.

Bought the book yesterday. It is wonderful. I started reading it to my daughter (5) lastnight. She is enjoying it as well.

Seth I LOVE your interviews. You treat everyone with kindness and respect. Youe interview with both Ms Plaza and Ms Swift are priceless. Iy is nice to see someone that appreciates brains.

I get sad after Halloween too. I starting keeping my nightmare before christmas decorations up all year. I have a life size Jack that I dress up for every holiday. This year I added Sally and Zero .

Growing up in a poor area of Italy, my mother wasn't raised believing in Santa but rather La Befana (beh-fahn-ya) the Christmas witch who brought an orange to the good children but placed bad children in her sack to be flown off to her cave, never seeing their parents again. Needless to say, my mother by all accounts was very well behaved.

When she goes on shows like Letterman or Conan, you know, people she knows will be skilled enough to be able to progress the interview even at her max weird level, she'll let loose. When she's with the likes of Seth or Fallen, she knows to be more generous with having a real conversation and can adapt. She's the perfect guest.
