hi, guys, mick from uk, great countryside you have in usa, just a suggestion , maybe a good idea to take a chain saw to clear some of those tree's across the trails, and a small axe to cut firewood. take care.

You can't just cut a tree down on public land.. you can't just cut a tree down on private land.... thats why the UK doesn't have a great amount of forested lands... you people cut them all down!!

So jealous. In Poland I would get 200$ ticket for riding my ATV in the forest, 1000$ for cutting down a tree and a sentence of being 5 years on probation for carrying a pistol. Nice trip guys :-)

+G6PBS If this in the US then it's probably legal to carry a pistol. Not in Canada. Of course it could be a pellet pistol. But yes you are correct. Jail time also in Canada for carrying a real pistol like 22. However in Canada you can carry a 50BMG rifle and it would be legal. Go figure. No problem finding ATV trails in Canada though. Cutting dead trees...makes for good free firewood. Come visit some time. LOL.

Just curious but why cut down a tree with all of the dead falls around you? I realize the one you cut was dead but can't quite understand taking it down with all those already on the ground. All in all a great video and nice trip! Thanks for the ride!

it had been raining alot in the area. the ones on the ground would be wet inside and no good for fires. The standing one can be processed to get dry wood.

In the future just cut the wood half-way through on three or four sections ( about an eight foot length) and then pick it up over your head and break it over another log. What do you care if it is not cut all the way through for a camp fire ?

Man....to me......this isn't camping......you guys need ladies there.....to cook..... clean and do the nasties with. When I first got my 99 Grissly 600......we had guys camp outs but with 6-9 guys... but ladies followed us anyway. One guy brought food.....one brought beer.....one brought music/entertainment(me)....one extra tools....one.....weapons.Went out about 9 times from 2002 to 2008....and had great times. Our second time out we had a run in with a pack of about 20 wild dogs. One homeless guy was trying to escape the local police and kept trying to steal our gear.He claimed he jumped out of a squad car..... we called locals and later a copter started flying over and he ran off.Coyotes are all over here in Indiana.I got tired of skeeters and bees.....also chiggers.
