I love my general just for this reason. I can pack what we need and then some for a weekend camp trip. As a family who loves the outdoors this was the best thing we got, it lets us get out in the mountains away from people. Great video, both of you look like you had a blast and work so well together.

We just picked up a new to us 2017 Commander. I have watched soo many of your videos leading up to us buying ours, and i can honestly say you helped us make our decision. Now we just need to find like minded friends in our area to do things like this camping trip you both did. Great spot and video. We are heading on a similar trip in early May to a trail system called Racehorse Pass which travel through the mountains from Alberta to BC. My son will have his ATV and my gf and daughter will be in our Defender XMR. Cool that your seats pop out,didn’t know that about the Commander. I tried to convince my son to buy that machine, but he went with the Outlander Max XMR 1000. Thanks for sharing and originally from ON, so nice to see that part of the country….we enjoyed cottage life for 35 years near Gravenhurst.

Great video 👍 Nice spot😁I can see why you would keep its location a closely guarded secret.😉 Nothing quite like cooking in a cast iron pan,when I first met my now wife their family are all accomplished campers/outdoors people. Her father used to cook us breakfast(well we all helped,but he did the cooking. It was his pan)bacon and eggs on that skillet 😋. Thanks for the great memories ✌️

Wandered across your videos last week. OHV camping, always a good time. Didn’t get to it this summer because of the fires, but next year is on the way. We have unlimited places here in Central Idaho to go do that, where no one else is. I can carry a ton of gear in my Ranger 570-4, enough for a week at least. I enjoyed your video.

Nice video! Just an idea, add a small roof rack and a awning to it, some awnings can become rooms. Keep having fun camping!

Good times in the woods... totally understand about keeping your spot secrete. Florida is my home state and the locals that are left have nowhere to get away from tourist and the rest of everyone else. Florida's culture is gone and our old getaways are ruined...I really miss the good old days. Enjoy

Great video Damian ! Don't you just love crown land camping..........and its free to do ! No extra neighbours, no cost, and your own private lake ! My son and I are planning on a trip soon with the ATV in Barry's Bay area. I don't blame you for keeping your spot a secret. Once it is out there, it gets ruined by careless people unfortunately. I have some good spots for you to try if you ever want to go. Let me know.

Last time we slept on an air mattress in the cold we nearly froze to death!! I am not sure what a person could use that packs that small though....

Aside from making a mattress on site out of spruce or fir boughs, there’s nothing else as far as I know that can make your sleep more comfortable. Also if you were cold with an air mattress I promise you would have been even colder without. The biggest reason I like the air mattress is because it keeps me up off the ground which gets super super cold and can sap the heat right out of you

If I have the room I’m going to take extra gear, I’ve done plenty of nights in the woods with less gear and let me tell you, sometimes shit happens and that extra gear could actually save your life.
