Probably my favorite non-sim racing game from my childhood. There's no other game like this, which makes me kind of sad :c
Played on Dolphin emulator, so there are some graphical bugs with the HUD and the shield/ammo pads

The feeling of breaking the sound barrier in this game was so good. The first time it happened I thought my gamecube had a heartattack.

LOL such is the power of that effect. It's not very realistic, but still quite satisfying nonetheless
